I used a Canon A620 8 Mpixel still image camera that has a video mode, and bought an underwater camera housing on line that cost around $180. It worked pretty well.
You will have THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE on this cruise!!!!

We are doing this cruise in January. Fabulous video - thanks! Am also wondering what kind of camera you had as we are looking for one to capture the underwater parts of the trip.

Can you take children with you?? I am 16 and my young sister is 15....My mom is thinking about taking us on this cruise (along with my 2 older sisters) Would you recommend this cruise to for a trip with teenagers?? Or would something like Royal Caribbean be better?? Great video.

Absolutely!!! If you like the sea and sea life you will LOVE this cruise!!!! I took all these pictures and videos on shore excursions ... somthing wonderful to to every day!!!

I used a very simple Canon A640 series digital camera that has video as well, and I bought an underwater housing for it. Make sure to take an underwater camera!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE

Thank you so much! My husband is already researching our camera choice. We had an underwater camera in the Caribbean last year and it broke on our first entry to the water! So frustrating... this year we have to make sure we get it right.
We are over the moon excited thinking about this cruise!!! Thanks again for your video, you really did a nice job. We have watched it a few times and get more excited with each viewing!
