Hmm, I noticed Thing (the green monster) was performed by Frank Oz. I thought he hated performing full-body characters? Either he was able to briefly tough this one out (unlike the LaChoy Dragon), or he only did the voice while a stand-in wore the suit (I know Jerry Nelson both wore the suit and performed the voice for Thog, the blue one)
Puppetup, I Thabigben1 is wondering when this video will be released to DVD. These monsters I have never seen before, except Thog the big blue monster. Still, I only wish they can release this on DVD soon. Don't you agree?
@thabigben1 I For one definitely agree! I mean if the other Ed Sullivan Muppet bits were released on DVD, There's a Chance that the Special may be released on DVD as well!
I wish there was a better quality copy avaiable. Thats the best i've been able to find. Disney or Henson should clear up all the rights issues surrounding this and release it as its a classic piece of muppet comedy that has yet to be widely released.
im very sorry about this but thats what happens on my video copy of it, it goes black and then pops back up (on the youtube version it does this at the start of part 4). Im sorry but there is nothing i can do about it

i convert it to dvd then use Roxio Capture to make it into a video file. I then use movie maker to put it into clips for youtube
