  • "The white flag is out. This is the final lap!"

  • Why is the number backwards on one side?

  • Despite the poor graphics, the cars handled much better on the original Saturn version.......

Sega somehow ruined the car handling and gameplay on this version!

  • @ptracerfastlane how the heck did you get first on Dinosaur Gannon I usually can only get third on that track. Pretty cool that you made it look so easy as well.

  • Man this game looks just as good as any PS1 game did. One of the best racing games to come out. I think Daytona USA CCE was every bit as good looking as the first Gran Turismo.

  • @fireheartgames They're completely different games so I wouldn't compare them. In terms of gameplay time you can easily get more out of Gran Turismo than this, and GT is much more deep. For arcade fun though, you can't really go wrong with this game.

  • @RJTamm93 I wasn't comparing gameplay at all. What I was saying is there is nothing wrong with the graphics and it looks just as good to me as Gran Turismo. Now with GT 2 they upped the graphics to look almost as good as DreamCast, but as far as these two games the graphics look just as good as GT1. I've always been a Sega Fan and their Saturn console is my favorite of all time. I like Arcade racers better than Simulator racers anyways, but that all I was saying.

  • @fireheartgames Well, as far as graphics, they're really good for the Saturn but a couple things to notice are the amount of polygons on the cars and the draw distance. While the textures are very nice and sharp you can still see the Saturn's limited polygon power. Don't get me wrong though, it's my favorite system too.

  • @RJTamm93 Yea somethings are not as good on the Saturn as they are on PS1, but there are games that actually look better on Saturn. Tomb Raider being one of them. The development team did a really good job on that game. It goes to show if the development team knows what they are doing the Saturn's 3D effects can be really good. As far as racing games go Scorcher is the best looking one. If you've ever played Scorcher you know what I'm talking about. That game looks really great.

  • lol at 5:13 incomplete checkpoint sound!!!!

  • Although less true to the original arcade game, this one is my favorite of the two. Good graphics, and its compatible with the 3D controller. Its also still a great arcade racer.

  • @RJTamm93 i disagree with you slightly, because the original tracks are here, but the cars and soundtrack are not original

  • Nothing else that the best Daytona USA game ever released on home systems !

  • I also had this Daytona USA CCE back on the day, and also believe it's the best of both versions. While I love the "daytonaaaaaa" on the original songs, those new versions are totally rock n roll. I listen to it even today! It's the winner, hands down!

  • PC version had another track. Too bad neither of the two ran at 60 fps. D:

  • Very nice game!!! I prefer the original, because it´s have more arcade feeling, it´s more Daytona USA. But this one have nice graphics, better framerate, two players options, it´s very cool.

  • My favorite course also the best music, "Dinosaur Canyon" very very very cool!!!!

    Congratulations!!!

  • Good Times!!!!
