I watched both versions of this scene in english and japanese and i gotta say this version is sadder but both are are good at bringing me to tears everytime i watch this scene:)

I have a theory as to why xion looks more like aqua. xion appearance changes with each person depending on how well they knew sora because she is composed of his memories right? and roxas is soras nobody but was modeled in vens image since soras body was returned from the darkness. sooo perhaps xion looks like aqua because vens heart and memories are reacting with both roxas and xion in a way to make him see her as a younger version of aqua.

Axel captured her for Xemnas and then dumb Mansex altered her memory and persona to serve his purpose. After Roxas defeats her, her memories and personality return and she follows through with the orgional plan she had created with Namine, for her to return to Sora so he could wake.
@EternalXin She kind of does, but I don't see how Aqua can be tied so directly to Kairi. I know Aqua saved her when she was little, but I don't think it's like the Ven-Sora-Roxas connection...

But you're right...It's not like Xion is Kairi's nobody, she made up from Sora's memory. So maybe it's Ven's memory of Aqua mixed with Sora's memory of Kairi?

Ok soo... People are wondering why Roxas is worried about the ice- cream while Xion is dying... It's because in the beginning of the game Axel tells him that friends eat ice- cream and laugh together, so he really means who will be his friend...

Well, Roxas can't really trust Axel because of all the lying and events going on, so when his now only friend Xion, someone who he can still trust, dies, his only time being happy was eating ice cream with Axel and Xion.

when it comes to anime/rpgs, i generally prefer subbed over dubbed, except for satoshikon and ghibli movies, then both are just as good. for one, dub is almost always inferior quality.
as for kh, im fine listening to dub, but i still prefer sub BECAUSE:
as an example, in this scene, just the way xion words certain lines, which dub lacks.

They co-existed with their Somebodies. Roxas was active while Sora was put to sleep, but still very much himself. Kairi was still living on Destiny Island when Namine was active.
I read something about that because they co-existed with their Originals, they were able to have more true emotions than the other Nobodies.

But I have to whole heartedly say that this is a pretty awesome scene that can really pull at the heart strings. i love killing xion but how to excape her lightning bolts just go on the top right corner and glide there untill it stops to douge the purple ball stand at her chest and as soon as it comes jump it won't get u and those blue beams stand at her chest oh when she is slashing you glide to her sholder and keep gliding untill she stops and when that giant yellow ring is in the middle of the field as soon as it comes glide to her chest again oh, make sure you lock on. but it is STILL SAD!!!!! D,:

and also how did Xion become cuz isnt she a nobody and cant she use the keyblade cuz my sis said that Xion is the nobody of Sora also cuz in kingdom hearts 1 he lost 2 hearts his and Kairi so roxas was his orginal nobody and Xion was the second cuz she was the second heart Kairis heart yes no i dont know the answer but thats my guess comment back if you think somethin different

xion is a replica sorta like the riku replica in kingdom hearts chain of memories but a far superior model she was created in castle oblivon & is made from soras memories of kairi from kh1 she has a keyblade because she is apart of sora roxas is soras nobody...

in some scenes you will notice she has her hood down one second then up the next this is because xion changes in the eyes of who is looking at her for example xigbar saw ven when he sees her saix just sees a being in a black coat thats because xion isnt really a girl she changes forms depending on how close to sora you are

when it comes to anime/rpgs, i generally prefer subbed over dubbed, except for satoshikon and ghibli movies, then both are just as good. for one, dub is almost always inferior quality.
as for kh, im fine listening to dub, but i still prefer sub BECAUSE:
as an example, in this scene, just the way xion words certain lines, which dub lacks.
"that alone... plz dont forget it."
knowing what namine told her, xion wanted to tell roxas that if anything, thats the only thing she'd want him to remember.

Why? I didn't translate this, I just subbed it. And if you think the official english translation is 100% equal to the japanese, you're wrong. They change the text to fit the lips movements.

she's complicated. xion would have a heart cuz shes not a nobody, shes a replica. so she has her own.
axel learns how to feel via close contact around those with them (roxas/xion and their abilities to feel), so he can feel his own with sort of a "ghost heart" as long as anchored by another's heart(s) to give it body.
and whats weird? xion's the fourth of FIVE soras. O_O
cuz thers sora, then roxas, then her, then data sora in coded, and then thers ven before any of them.

He doesn't have a heart but in a special issue of Nintendo Power, it says that Roxas and Namine, due to the strange way that they were born, do in FACT have emotions

They co-existed with their Somebodies. Roxas was active while Sora was put to sleep, but still very much himself. Kairi was still living on Destiny Island when Namine was active.
I read something about that because they co-existed with their Originals, they were able to have more true emotions than the other Nobodies.

I usually would be the type of person to say "Kingdom Hearts... >:( so lame, there are like a million people pathetically attempting to english dub anything Axel or Roxas ever says. Get a life..." But I have to whole heartedly say that this is a pretty awesome scene that can really pull at the heart strings. It's actually been placed up in my top 20 must see scenes from games list which I have stored in my brain.
