Just got back from Pathos last night. The highlight of the holiday was dropping into Mothers restaurant for a meal. Firstly, the food is exceptional. Fresh, well presented and delicious.
Secondly, the restaurant itself is so authentic and exactly what you hope to find when visiting a country like Cyprus.
Finally, the family who run this place are fantastic even Gordon Ramsey couldn't teach them anything. Genuine, talented and 100% unpretentious. Costos, (who is in the video) is a living legend!
This one is a jewel.Great food ( lovely taste),verry kind people ( Costos & Sortiris).They make you feel at home.Good price.We spent 2 weeks in Pafos , and ate 7 times at Mother's.I would say , go for it, if you whant to eat at a real Cyprus taverne.
Wow - spent 10 days in Cyprus and found this restaurant after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. In the last 4 days, we've been to Mother's 3 times - the food is delicious and Costos is a wonderful guy! Pleasure to eat here and to meet Costos!
