Sturgeon Fishing in Vancouver Coast and Mountains

i live in surrey bc and my best day was 33 with the average being 6 feet or so and we fish from the dock no boat needed

Not bad, for your first. we average 8 feet long every spring and normally catch 2 to 20 a day depending on the time of year but that's here in Idaho.

Wow bud..an eight footer for your first sturgeon...very well done. I've just gotten into this fishery in the last year and have caught probably just over 50 fish and have yet to see an eight footer.
