FAKE! i bet he turned off the iphone. not that the battery ran out. the iphone can take videos for like 5-6hours tops. lame vid. no wonder nobody likes it. :P btw bentlet103 was 100% correct. you cant change the resolution of video. its 720p. omg i feel like killing you. i bet you dont hve any friends.
How can you justify the iPhone having the best battery when you never used the other phones? Granted it's a much better battery than previous iPhones, but I've got longer use with my Nexus One.
@DigitalGamma all the review sites say the iphone 4 has the best battery. I have an iphone 4 on regular use the battery last me a day and a half. and your an idiot for saying this fraise " the camera wasn't set to 720p" you can't chose what it shots it just shots 720 and you get choice when you send it out idiot
@bently103 When I tap the screen on the iPhone it goes from 16:9 to 4:3. If that doesn't change the camera from SD to HD then it's just a stupid feature.
@DigitalGamma it doesnt change it at all it just zooms out so you can see the entire picture. Cause when its at full screen some of the stuff gets cut off in that view. But taping it makes it so you can see everything in the shot.
@DigitalGamma Agreed but the software on it instead of 6.1 would make it a guaranteed win even though the battery on the x1 and x2 is the same the software makes the biggest difference.
Are you being serious? You are testing battery life by recording video??! Something every phone handles completely different. It therefore probably makes it the worst battery life test I have ever seen. Great job.
@DigitalGamma I must say you take criticism really well. I'd say a function that doesnt involve almost all of the phones hardware actively functioning. Or something in which all phones are the same. Like calling, idling. Or you could do a test with the same game on every phone, Or maybe have them load a web page over an over to see how they handle wifi and such.
@Dcinity Until all phones have a unified operating system a "fair test" is not possible according to your logic. The reason I chose the camera, because it's a generic feature on phones these days. It's also really intensive. I wanted to see how quickly I could kill the battery, and that was achieved
Want real world testing? Its kind of hard to do. There's so much variables that need to be accounted for. These include signal strength, background apps, amount of of data traffic and temperature

@faiqmatin9 How would you know? Did you leave the iPhone running while taking video? Well I did...
Also the 720p thing was my mistake. But when the aspect ration changed from 16:9 to 4:3 then thats the first thing I assumed.

the iphone 4 still has the best battery of all and it had to shoot hd 720p videos at 30 frames per second which takes more battery.
