What i noticed the last 2 years that i've been working out is that gym really helps but if i don't eat healthy few things change. I try to work out as much as i can and i try to eat healthy but sometimes i go on sugar rampage.
Interesting question to pose. I've always defended size acceptance, but have also recently lost 70 lbs. I don't think its contradictory. Being smaller fit my active lifestyle better, simple as that. If I may ask, where are you at now? I've been following you for a while, and know that like me you're not afraid of numbers, which is the right way to think. I was 330+ and now 265
Congrats! That is so awesome! My numbers on here have seriously yo-yoed. =p After I was dumped in June my weight went back up to 333, it's now down to 307 last time I weighed.
Well thank you, but as a side question, don't you think its a little weird when people congratulate you? Like there was something wrong with you in the first place? i mean I know people mean well when they say it, but I was never comfortable of people coming up to me and saying "hey! you look great!" Like I was chopped liver before ya know? Maybe that's just me though haha. Anyway thanks again :)
Ha ha, I totally understand where you're coming from. But I guess it's all how you look at it. Losing 70 lbs isn't really an easy feat, so I'd let people congratulate me simply for all the hard work and effort it took!
Yeah you're probably right. It just seems awkward sometimes, but maybe it's because I don't really like the spotlight. Probably a little different for guys and girls don't you think? Girls tend to appreciate compliments more than guys, I think.
I saw the movie on Netflix and it is awesome! Size acceptance begins with your concept of you.....and accepting who and what you are but not stay there....you can change what you don't like and love what you love.
