No Indian serial in this world can match the quality, simplicity and great acting by all characters of Byromkesh Bakshi. I would rate Byomkesh Bakshi as alltime best detective serial better than Tehkikaat, Karamchand and Marshall.

@charkhur How can there be 54 episodes when Sharadindu Babu wrote only 33 stories? Think about it , all of us who are from Bengal know this and most of us know it because as a school boy we used to love Byomkesh and miss his adventures much , after we had read all the stories .I have always wondered that if Sharadindu Babu loved Holmes that much why did he gave Byomkesh just 33 stories and not a lot more like Doyle did with the detective of Baker Street.
