If you're a beginner, don't watch these videos. It will confuse you tremendously! The slip stitch is wrong - she turned it into a slip single crochet stitch. The triple crochet is more like an extended single crochet. And to decrease you don't skip a stitch like she says (unless you're creating a pattern) - you crochet 2 together. And yes, go in order and put them all together! Nice yarn, though.
