  • Dave quote ".... and you can have the bag set up in a certain way, so you are ready to take them out of the bag and it's all set up and you can be ready to go...........don't want to say too much.."

    I think you already did!

  • Devils Hank? I think you are referring to "GLORPY" or Ghost Hank. The devil Hank is the one to vanish objects....

  • Congratulations Dave for winning the Matrix debate. I guess I'll have to keep gathering my fan base. I hope you really know I wouldn't try to change your review, just your feelings about matrix routine in general. I'm not a huge fan of most matrix routines ...that's why I made mine! Keep making me laugh, you two are fun to watch ...

  • david penn always says synopcisise us i think that is how you say it

  • here is another review of the Perfect Nail Bend: How can they be so different? It's almost like one reviewer is in the biz of selling magic and the other buys it. Hmmm?:A very crappy trick do not waste your money. I can't even fully straighten the bent one and the straight one won't fully straighten anymore now that I have bent it They do look like real nails but who wants to pay 60 bucks for two nails. Very disappointing trick. DON'T BUY. Also impractical for walkaround.

  • Love the show.

Gertner is nice. There is no way he was fooled.

Something from Nothing is not near as good as Unshuffled (which only takes 3 faros, are you sure you perform this?). The shuffle is one of the points of amazement. The shuffle is skill, not magic, but the spectators mouths are open as they see it done. AND I almost exclusively use it with the name of the company I am working for on the side. In fact I have secured many gigs, by performing it at a meeting with their name on the deck.

  • @SparkmansMagic do their mouths really open when they see a faro shuffle?

Surely it's them yawning as you do the third one

  • Did Paul Gertner say it was the best unshuffled he'd seen today? LOL. Just having some fun. You guys are great. Thanks for the reviews. My favorite day is Wednesday.

  • that trick 'something from nothing' kind of reminds me of a trick from paul harris's true astonishments, called the 'big tiny deck'? or something like that. very nice touch on revealing it tho.

  • PNB, when you say you can give away the nail, im guessing that you can bend any nail after the prep???

  • Please review Window by David Stone orz

  • Something or Nothing - slightly obvious pocketing of gimmick by Craig - and rather unbiased review (due to the exclusive deal) - the nail bend does look real but surely anyone who understands how a kettle switch works is going to figure this out. Still great entertainment though!

  • Hi guys,

For once, i quite agree with some comments : i'm a little bit disappointed by the review on Something from Nothing.

On his website, the creator handles it so well, i didn't really know how he managed it even after watching several times... But Craig, just by looking at this review once you killed the trick to me... I now know exactly how it works, it doens't make a favor to the original trick... :os

Otherwise, great show, as usual !

  • I wasn't impressed with Something From Nothing either, as it looked way too movey and very suspicious in parts of the routine

  • hi i was wondering if you could please review the gecko by jim

    thanks

    luca

  • well done on another show

  • The main reason why i dislike it is because the way the card... ( i am not going to continue because i think i might get blamed for saying that :), just one letter "f", it is pretty obvious to me and those who know already would know what i am saying.)

What do you guys thing about the effect?

  • @MagicTricksRocks Who flagged this as spam zzz.

  • @MagicTricksRocks youtube does it if you post twice with similar posts. Computer control of the masses.

  • @worldmagicshop Oh ok thanks :). Somehow, the first one got sent out while i was still typing or editing rather :P. Thanks lots once again :)

  • LOL @ David: "i just like to see him get angry" ( 9.57~10.03).

Something from Nothing does not look really impressive to me, kind of over rated? Just what i think :). Anyway is the deck too expensive to be give away? Or it just like any normal deck which could be make on the spot writing "something" and "nothing" in the eyes of audience. I don't think i am getting it.

  • A couple few questions regarding Something From Nothing...

Does it come pre marked or do you have to mark the deck yourself?..If it does come pre-marked Can you choose either red and blue bicycle when you purchase?

  • Craig, you say you are going to replace Unshuffled with Something from Nothing, but I seriously hope not. You absolutely killed the effect. Not patter-wise, naturally, but you handled the deck like a cackhanded oaf.

  • @GhostofLenoir That's a bit harsh. I know the effect and he handled it fine, when you dont know what your looking for ;)

  • @GhostofLenoir Agreed. The effect looked WAY better when I saw the creator perform it. Sorry Craig.

  • That Something from Nothing effect looks similar to Paul Harris' Big Tiny from his True Astonishments DVD Set, which btw I think you guys should review ;) I know I've asked this before but I want your review on it because there is a ton of amazing effects on it that are really cool, come on guys you know you want to review that set ;)

  • A review will always be opinion based, if it wasn't, then there would not be anyone to review things... And these guys go through every aspect of decision making that I myself would want to go through before buying effects. I have LOTS of things that they have reviewed and I agree with the almost everything they have said!

I already have the nail bend, but will be ordering Something for Nothing.

  • Re: perfect nail bend...

Guys, who cares about the packaging? I'd rather pay £3 less on the magic I get and get crappy packaging, than get fancy packaging (which will never be used) and pay more...

  • @JeromeBurnet Its good to make you product look nice as well as have a good effect.

  • a belief is a opinion.

"A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof"

"a belief not based on absolute certainty or positive knowledge but on what seems true, valid, or probable to one's own mind; judgment"

  • It not just your opinion, its your 'review' broadcast to the entire world in a video review show. When you broadcast what you think, then it is no-longer just your opinion, it is a belief that you are trying to project onto others.

  • First? :D
