The Jetboil boiling vessel is one of the truely worthwhile new developments for backpackers.

I'm home from a wet 'n cold 3 week exercise in the army and I took my new Jetboil with me. I'm impressed with the speed it takes to boil water for coffee, heating our foilpac rations or warming water for shaving. What amazed me was that most of my detachment now want to buy their own Jetboils. High praise indeed. The one thing I would change is to make them wider but shorter so you could put a 250gr gas canister inside. The 100gr canisters are so uneconomical to buy here in Australia.
