  • this song pretty much signaled the end of Code Geass

  • and this is.... zero requiem.

  • My friend told me that he didn't really Code Geass. Now he likes it because I used the Geass on him. :3

  • The only one's who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed

  • @lelouchmagnet12 good god i was about to put the same thing until i saw 2 of them xD

  • The only one who should be killed is who ready to be killed

  • ALL HAIL LELOUCH!! ALL HAIL BRITANIA!! ;(;(;(

  • "Only those that are prepared to fire should be fired at, " Lelouch Vi Brittania aka Lelouch Lamperouge aka Zero the 1st

  • @ogbemi123 You said it wrong.

  • @Javid938 sorry about that, been a while since i watched the scene

  • @Javid938 No he didn't, watch the scene again -_-

  • @ogbemi123 That's my new favorite quote :)

  • lelouch is too boss... he managed to accomplish his goals and made a heroic exit and Survived as an added bonus to his bossness

  • this song makes me cry. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

  • Ahh the best song to listen to during an early Monday morning dump. Truly an epic way to start the day.

  • The zero requiem

  • Pls Guys, can someone help me?? I´m searching 4 a song of this soundtrack, its in episode 2 when Kullen jumps on the Train!!!

Pls, can somebody tell me the title??

  • When I listen to this song, I wish I was in old times or in a world where adventure was the daily life, and I could just go out and run after some evil guys or demons with my sword and my bow and arrows and kick some ass . You know.. and jump and do some accrobaties, have scratches and bruises on my body, fall and then get up stronger than I was. just have this feeling that I amaccomplished and do something of my life, that's what I need...

  • @Archelterreure Ever heard about Skyrim?

  • @Shakalaka35 yes, but never played it :(

  • About two years ago, I came across this song. That is what inspired me to watch Code Geass. I watched every episode loving the anime and also waiting for the song. Then they played it on the very last episode of the series.... it was worth the wait.

  • Something just... epic

  • And thus, a legend is born.

The legend of ultimate bro sacrifice. Slightly homo but even I had a man tear. Same with Kamina. When epic dies, you are sad. Natural law.

  • quick notice guys: The creators of code geass and death note aka the two best animes ever made, are working together on a new anime (currectly has 11 episodes) named guilty crown. So far it hasn't competed with code geass or death note in the story line.. but the anime itself is soo epic and beautifull and well im only at episode 9 and it keeps getting better, so everyone go watch this anime.. its truely awesome!

  • @106588 there is problem though....both the animes were based off really cool mangas written by two sepatare authors....until and unless they dont collaborate there is no actual reason to watch anything

also sunshine made code geass and madhouse made death note neither of which has anything to do with project I.G. which makes guilty gun.guilty crown is being directed by tetsuro araki from death note though

    will check it out anyway

  • @DaarrkEdge01 I might have written wrong information, but The anime does seem to have points connecting death note with code geass. The leader of this liberation is a smart guy with a plan is his head. He wont fear actions neccesary to reach his goal. He reminds me in a tactic way of Lelouch. But in a cruel way of Light. Also the envouriment is alot like code geass and the story base and set-up is also alot like code geass. So there are parts of both animes. In this new formed anime. It's great.

  • lol, comment battles for the win... "I'm going to watch this whole series so I can make fun of it, then I'm going to argue about world war II, and then we are gonna get at least one thing straight: 'It's pronounced RAmen not RAYmen!!!!'" lolololol

  • One thing I ask about this show is... Where are the fighter jets? I mean they have helicopters, tanks, even made up knightmare frames, but no fighter jets? What?

  • @TheKittenish if you mean with fighter jets flying knighmares, then they have those in season two.. and alot of them.

  • @106588 FIGHTER JETS. Maybe you're a stupid COD player. Like an effing harrier.

  • @TheKittenish

They were there in the beginning (flashbacks to the Japan invasion). I always hypothesized that Britannia simply stopped using them in the first season because they always had air superiority, and they were sidelined in favor of flying Knightmares in season 2 because fighter jets ain't gonna sell no Gunpla. :P

  • @BowToWard86

plus Kallen on her own can take down an army when she's pissed enough. and it's easy to get her angry.

  • 'Madder sky' and then 'continued story'... 2 way too awesome OST's which were played on the last scenes of r2... I LOVE IT :) they fit in their so perfectly!

  • Code geass had some nice music, some likable characters, a good storyline for the first season, sure it went to crap in the second and the ending was a giant plot hole, it was still enjoyable. Like eating chocolate on a diet.

  • @painoftheheart12

"ending was a giant plot hole"

    do explain.

  • @ilyLaura1 As beautifully portrayed and poeticly written as it was, the end holds about as much water as a funnel. Seems perfect for a moment, is okay for a while, but at the end of the day it's still just something added for dramatic effect. The entire plan of Lelouch's was to gain the hate of the entire world and then kill himself off. Well, there always be someone somewhere who agreed with Lelouch, so having the whole world hate him is impossible. But then you get to . . .

  • @ilyLaura1 the second half of Lelouch's plan which was "and create world peace." You know, Lelouch was supposed to be smart, but as the anime went on, he lost all the intelligence as the second season rolled in. This is equivalent to saying that once Hitler died then the world would be at peace. Or after the USSR fell the world would be at peace. Or after Osama Bin Laden died. Or the end of China. Obviously, none of these have or will bring world peace. Also, with Lelouch now gone ...

  • @painoftheheart12 Don't forget that Hitler, the USSR, Bin Laden, or China never took over the entire world before turning everyone into barely anything more than slaves, even going as far as to execute people who talked bad about him. Those factions are only part of the world's hate.

I believe the world would live in relative peace for at least two generations after this, no-one running the risk of creating a similar dictatorship due to having experienced it themselves.

  • @AGENTX506 They may have never took over the entire world, but nor did Lelouch. You can see at the end of the second season that countries like Germany, Ukraine, and certain others were never taken over by the UFN. And the thought of two generations trying to keep peace is rather wishful thinking. It would becaome like Germany after WWII trying everything to keep the original evil down, in this case, Britannia. And the UFN would never survive since LELOUCH was the one who made it.

  • @AGENTX506 So ultimately, Lelouch's plan to make the world hate him contradicted and counteracted with his forced UFN. No one is going to want to keep it working since he was the one who got the entire world to hate him and then decided to kill himself off. He was the only one, with FLEIJA, to keep this power alive, and once he dies, any unity would die too. No country would ever allow themselves to stay in a forced union that was made by someone they hated. So logicly, the story ...

  • @AGENTX506 failed on itself and curled up in a courner and really just allowed itself to die. The entire second season felt so completely rushed and the characters became more and more unlikable, their personalities became fickle, inconsistent, and no longer the characters from the beginning. Add that with an ending that was more emotionally manipulative than actually believable, and you really have nothing to hold water. It was enjoyable for a moment, but afterwards it was annoying.

  • @painoftheheart12 while i agree that such things do not follow the human condition as it is now, but i still think in an alternate world it would be possible. nowhere is it stated that the alternate humans of the alternate history would be identical. after all in that world they even allow children to become chairman of like international orginsations, and a thing like a "thought elevator" exists.

and personally i didn't find the characters in R2 becoming inconsistent

  • @IsilionNELE Why don't you go back, and look it over again. Suzaku believed the ends don't justify the means, in one moment he changes that entire view point. Lelouch wanted to kill Rolo for the entire season until RIGHT BEFORE HIS DEATH. It is all emotional manipulation and plot devices, not entertaining nor intelligent. As a writer I can point this out.

  • @painoftheheart12 i would call that characters changing their mind and character development

lelouch manipulated rolo until the end, and would have killed him if he were to become useless. but then rolo saved his life and died for him, that would change everyone's feelings about the other

  • Comment removed

  • @IsilionNELE One needs reason to change their mind, point one. Two, character development must happen in incriments. When a character hold strong sentiment for one belief and then suddenly whips to the other extreme just because it fits the mood is not character development, it is bad writing. Rolo originally wanted to fulfill his mission , BUT as time with Lelouch went on, he truely does love Lelouch, THAT is character development. Lelouch ripping Rolo to shreds, then begging . . .

  • @IsilionNELE him to live is NOT character development, but a spur-of-the-moment reaction. It has no backing, no development, just because he comes to Lelouch's rescue is nothing. There is no character development on Lelouch's side but more on Rolo's, Lelouch just sudden grows a heart for the assassin and ther really is nothing to support the change. One minute he wishes Rolo dead, next he's saying "DONT DIE!!" No development inbetween.

  • @IsilionNELE Also, what we saw of Humans in the first and second season, and with human wants of power and greed, we see people have not changed one bit in Code Geass, so what makes you have any backing to your statement other than you wish to believe in the ending's monologue of happily-ever-after with no physical, consistent proof. Point one out, I have never seen one.

  • @ilyLaura1 what is going to keep the UFN from breaking up, since even FLEIJA is gone and the Black Knights have nothing to hold them together. Also, remember that they were rounded together through force for the most part, so of course they wouldn't just sit there and agree, because they all still want something for themselves. So to get to the ending with that wonderful death scene and then Kallen's "Happily-ever-after" speech is rather disgusting. More specificly the speech.

  • @painoftheheart12 what you mention is not a "plothole" it is not internal inconsistency, it is merely something that would be very unlikely in our world. and that's where "suspension of disbelief" comes in. just as with flying meccha, we have to assume that in that world it is possible. after lelouch died people realized to what violence and force could lead, the world saw the light and changed its behaviour

  • @IsilionNELE Suspension of disbelief has to be consistent, but this is something that would never happen. And seeing as this is an alternate universe, not an entirely different world with different creatures who think and process emotion through different means, there is always going to be discontent. Being a majour political and history buff, that killed my willing suspension of disbelief, so to me, it is a giant plothole which has ultimately left the second season as a total sham.

  • @IsilionNELE And like I said to Agent *points up* There would never be any "seeing the light" because when have you ever known people to apply anything to themselves. Go to an assembly on bullying, no one ever realizes that they are bullies, so with human nature a giant theme in Code Geass, you're saying I should ignore the illogicalness of what they're imposing me to believe. Suspension of disbelief, is the state the audience comes to view with, but it is the job of the ...

  • @IsilionNELE in this case, writers, to make it stay believable. I understand the logic that this is an alternate universe, but I will never submit to believing in a farce that because it is an alternate universe, human nature will change. The entire first season and beginning of second season up to Charles' death was based around the selfishness of human nature! So even saying that Lelouch's death can fit in the plot and work, is already contrary to the rest of the anime.

  • @IsilionNELE My suspension of disbelief left when the SEITEN and ALBION came to the be. These are suped up mecha who are flying and turning at speeds that would exert upon both the machine and pilot enough G-forces to tear them apart, possibly around 20-30Gs considering the speed and the tight angles being < 45 degrees. That neither Kallen or Suzaku should even be alive, let alone standing. And from then on, I found some issues in the mechanical department in the development of ...

  • @IsilionNELE the new knightmares compared to actual armored vehicle development. The Lancelot is a prototype and is still able to do more than what was originally predicted without any form of mechanical failure despite it being its first launch. Then the Vincent comes in the 2nd season and does something similar despite it also being a prototype meant for mass production, once again with no mechanical failures. I don't care how advanced militarily the Britannians are, you are ...

  • @IsilionNELE never going to get a prototype work as you want it to in its combat engagements. The Germans who are master of engineering created tanks that out-classed any of the Allied nations in WWII, and their first tanks suffered from numerous mechanical failures that they never achieved their objectives. If this actually happened in real life, than the German's Tiger tank would have crushed the Soviet resistance in Leningrad, ...

  • @IsilionNELE and Kursk would have been a German Victory with their FULL complement of Panther tanks. Then there is the one line in the 1st season that I have trouble accepting, and that is the Lancelot equipped with its float unit "being faster than a fighter plane". WHAT!? You're going to tell me a humanized mecha with no obvious aerodynamic principles flies faster than a vehicle that IS aerodynamicly designed?! This is complete BS on the writers/creators part for not doing ...

  • @IsilionNELE their research.

  • @strategicperson95 Dude, Lelouch has freaking mind control abilities, C2 is immortal, Mao reads minds, Rolo can shut off a persons sense of time, we have the collective unconscious, Marianne survived death via hitching a ride in another person's body...

Those arent possible for sure. Anyways, you realize that Code Geass is set in a world over 50 or 60 years more advanced, and by the time they reach 2011 AD (2066 A.T.B),they will be even more unimaginable advanced. They might know principles we

  • @Daedwartin2 First off, your arguing to me about the supernatural when I'm pointing out the mechanical flaws that barely plauged the first season and unholy messed up the 2nd season because it ran on Gundam logic. Also, a collective unconscious is something I believe psycologists look into, so barely supernatural there.

Also my non-researching friend, The CG Universe is actually 55 years BEHIND us: 2017 atb: 1962 AD. And their principles are electromagnetic based, but from all the

  • @Daedwartin2 scenes with their guns firing, it is mostly at close-ranges where our weapons for our infantry and on our tanks could blow their armies away from a distance greater than the distances they fire at. Also, the lack of a combined arms doctrine would mean that if any other nation held such a doctrine, they would be able to destroy Britannia's military easily cause they have support from the air, they have artillery supporting their advances, and the armor and infantry

  • @Daedwartin2 would support each other that the ideal doctrine of just using one specific unit like a knightmare for all of your battles, even with an aerial battleship supporting you, is stupid and just asking for your military to be murdered by the opposition. And if I might add, the only thing we wouldn't know about their electromagnetic principles is the the composition of the element Sakuradite, which is a superconductor but highly volitile that it will explose just from a small

  • @Daedwartin2 amount of force. What its composition is and how it works will never be knowned until the creators feel free to let us know how this fictional rock works.

Also, I find it complete BS for Britannia to take over the nation of Russia in less time than it took Nazi Germany just to cross half of its western border. Especially when you take into consideration of its terrain and its weather conditions. Fall=heavy mud, Winter=freezing temperatures below 30 degrees celcius,

  • @Daedwartin2 that would knock a number of Knightmares out of service and heavy snow which from the propolsion system of the knightmare, would slow it down that even an old model Russian tank could knock it out with no problems from a slow turret traversing speed. Also, it's mostly open hilly fields and rocky mountains when you attack them from the east as well as the Russian pride to defend the Motherland at all costs, it would take even Britannia years to beat them.

  • @strategicperson95 dont know.

  • @Daedwartin2 looks to me some people don't know how to watch manga, don't you agree? :p

  • @IsilionNELE Well, manga are comics...

    Looks like you can't either.

  • @MetallicPoison true

i sometimes mix up the words :p

  • Schniezel and Cornelia disliked this...

  • this is the first anime tought me how be strong and brave......and the 1st that made me cry.................

  • those 2......who dislike.....could i please know their name........i want to write them in my death note.....surely...lelouch would be proud....

  • @darkzro11 lol....tell me if u know some names,i would ripple them apart xD

    With my geass xD

  • Throughout the entire seasons, each episiode left me in suspense and excitment; it's the perfect combination of action, love, drama and comedy.

  • ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!

  • Does anyone know the song in episode 25 of the first series that plays immediately after a nearly-dead Cornelia says Suzaku's a knight???

  • @alloalload Yea I think it's called the master

  • @MrGoatGuy6 Nah, I checked that one. The music was a sort of techno song, with a choir at times that sounded a bit like the master...

  • This is the best anime I've ever seen. One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Fairy Tail-They're good, but they don't hold a candle to Code Geass.

  • ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!

  • Its because the show causes you to think and the world does not have the attention span to wrap its head around its complex story. So instead we are stuck with Inuyasha

  • I remember the first time i heard this music. First I started thinking "Hey this music is really epic". Then a saw Zero charging at Lelouch with a sword. Then I literally started yelling at my screen like "NO,NO WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'R DOING, STOP. Then my mom came in and asked me why I was yelling like a maniac. I didn't hear her becouse I was still in shock. :( . Why do the best always have to die.

  • Code Geass is purely awesome

  • INTENSE.

  • ALL HAIL LELOUCH!

  • Un buen soundtrack para motivar decisiones... =J

  • And that is... Zero Requiem.

  • So sad. LELOUCH IS JESUS HE DIED FOR EVERYONE'S SINS!

  • @Lelouchisabeast This are fact. I know because I just finished Code Geass the anime ( I kno, im 5 years behind everyone...ultimate faggotry)

  • "Lelouch, the price your going to pay for using your Geass on them is a dear one."

  • 9/28 NEVER FORGET

  • and that... is Zero Requiem

  • why has this anime not broken true like the true gem it is?

i've seen many anime, many good, many bad, but this one ... this one is just amazing, it is epic, it is pure genius. I was at the edge of my seat during the whole series.

Lelouch, i've loved and supported you from beginning till end, with tears in my eyes. you are the true emperor!

    ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!

  • @IsilionNELE

I agree it's a very suspenseful and addicting show, and it did win some anima awards, but it also has its flaws. I think that Code Geass is just fine not being a mainstream series, because that could ruin it.

  • @SurvivorsOfTitanic Yes.... I thought season two had more flaws then season one though..

  • @IsilionNELE I agree with your summation of Code Geass.....so much so that if you were a woman id want to have children. But ALAS, tis the internet, and all tasks at hand have been cleared for now.

  • @IsilionNELE

i would recommend the anime death note to you it kind of has a similar story like this only a bit different.

  • @IsilionNELE I have seen many anime, many good, many bad, many amazing. Code Geass was a nice example how far executive meddling, bad writing and high production values in animation will take you. It was pretty mediocre, all in all. There were some pretty touching moments, many downright ridiculous, and overall it was pretty pointless.

Then there was that ending. That, I admit, was pretty darn epic. It was a far cry from the best anime I've ever seen, but darn that moment made it all worth it.

  • Best soundtrack ever. Best TV show ever. Enough said.

  • this is my favorite soundtrack from any anime

  • code geass is a truly amazing anime :)

  • my favourite

  • THIS GEASS I DO ACCEPT !

  • ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!

  • God damn Code Geass hasn't got 10% of the fame it deserves!

  • @CatalystGamingUK You kidding me? This is one of the most popular anime of all time!

  • @benxgov Yeah in the anime circuit it's well known but in the real world nobody knows what this show is at all. It should be as famous as the simpsons lol

  • @benxgov That is not enough.

  • this geass........................i accept!

  • sort of sounds like Transformers sound track.

  • transformers all spark theme.

  • This song still breaks my heart after a year. All hail Lelouch:(

  • @OnlyDrowningHer Every time I hear this, my heart does a little lurch and I feel like crying. Every single time.

  • Favorite ost of one of my favorite animes. Cowboy bebop, hellsing, full metal alchemist, samurai champloo are pretty much equaled by this. Higurashi is my absolute fave though.

  • Arigato, kami-sama, I've been looking for this song so much time!!!

Well, I'd better thanks the uplader instead of God...Well, thanks for the upload.^^

  • "yes ive destroyed the world and recreated it ...........anew"

  • this song sounds like it would play when i do a math problem on the board at school

  • this song is crap...lol only because you realise the anime is about to end. :(

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 fail! its because the melody is epic

  • 1:08

You ALL should be feeling some form of catharsis by now.

  • ?.....uh

  • This anime's moment is awsome !!! Epic !!!

  • epic slow motion punch music.

  • open a new tab and place a 15 second buffer between both tabs(each with this song on it) and play

please reply on what you think

  • @allhailfoamy1 It has a really nice delay effect. At most parts, it sounds real amazing.

  • @MetallicPoison thanks i got the idea from the bleach ost invasion where theres a 24 second deay inbewteen the 2 videos and it comes out really beastly

works for most any ost but the only hard part is getting the timming right

  • @MetallicPoison I've got an MP3 of that.

  • @yjk9a ?

  • @allhailfoamy1 That is HELLA cool.

  • @allhailfoamy1 Didn't like it.

  • @PleasedToBeHere1 meh win some lose some i suppose.

    owell que sera sera eh?

  • @allhailfoamy1 Thank you for this idea it was very inspiring. I created my own version of this soundtrack including your idea.

    /watch?v=A76ULPl2ELU

  • @RoxFlowz ill give it a look but i can't say this was 100% my idea i first thuoght about doing it after i read a comment on a bleach ost telling people to layer the music agisnt itself so i went around and tried it a few times and it seemed to work nicelty for a few....others not so much >.>

  • @allhailfoamy1 great!

  • @allhailfoamy1 GENIUS!!!!!!!

  • @loopofpoop thanks.

  • @allhailfoamy1 One of the best and most senseable soundtracks in an anime that anyone could ever made. Code Geass deserves some higher spotlight.

  • @allhailfoamy1 Would you be willing to make a video of them combined without needing two tabs? I think that would be AWESOME.

  • @allhailfoamy1 I think you just Han Zimmerfied this soundtrack. Thumbs up.

  • @lazermanextrem thanks

  • @allhailfoamy1 Holy motherfuck, this sounds great!

  • @Kevster921 thanks

  • @allhailfoamy1 jizzed in my pants...

  • @p94mitch lol...thanks i guess? o.0

  • @allhailfoamy1 no, thank you. lol

  • @p94mitch hmmm giggity.

  • @allhailfoamy1 wow, pretty awesome

  • @D0thex thanks

  • ALL HAIL LELOUSH!

  • @waltage ... sorry it is actually lelouCh. but I do agree :D:D

code geass is the best anime I have ever seen!! it is my favourite^^ best soundtrack, best characters! <3

  • And that...was zero requiem.

  • One of the best anime soundtracks ever?

Yes. Yes, I do believe so.

  • @bonsaitree15 Death Note is up there as well.

  • @stacybiotch YES. Oh my gooooooodness, YES.

  • @bonsaitree15 I, Lelouch Vi Britannia, do command you to worship this anime and OST!

  • @TonyBMan YES MY LORD!!

  • @IsilionNELE "My name is Lelouch vi Britannia, I am the eldest son of Empress Marianne, the prince who was abandoned by his empire. If anyone wishes to stop me, let them try, if there is anyone who can go beyond my despair."

  • damn, listening to this made me cry for lulu's death again... *sob*

zero reqium... am i the only one who thought if "reqium for a dream" not just because of similar names but frikin' epic soundtracks as well. madder sky; damn so impressive

  • @PXLightXD I thought the same. There is a video of the Zero Requiem with Requiem for a Dream as the song. I believe it is called Re;quiem for a Dream...

  • That strong vilione makes that song so AWESOME! <3
