  • 2:30 awesome painting

  • I don't think that Shiva would promote destroying the earth by killing the last tigers left and sitting on their skins as if trashy rugs or worthless carpet.

  • @MrTedragsdale misguided fool learn about hindu symbolism the sitting on the tiger skin represents the controlling of ones lust and sexual urges in other words celibacy

  • @MrTedragsdale its etomology brother, shiva is a character..rudra(shiva) in rig veda hymns read abt them

  • Always someone to take something beautiful and turn it negative ....how we respond to this negativity is what matters.

  • it goes up the spine....

  • let us disolve in our true nature , let us become what we are ... i bow , i bow to Shiva

    Om Namah Shivaya

  • this sounds a bit scaRRY for me :(

  • How can one salute him when he faces all directions?

How can one dance for him when he Lord Shiva himself dances into every atom of the universe?

Lord Shiva is the commander of all studies and devotion...

He is the greatest of the greatest and he resides in my heart before I was born,as long as I live and after I leave this world...

  • I'm extremely sorry.Let me correct myself.Enchantingly lulling,lullingly soothing,soothingly amazing,and amazingly enchanting.

There's no more that I can say and no more can be said than what I have said

  • There is only One True God and that is the God od Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. There is also only one name under heaven by which one can be saved, that is Yeshua (Jesus). He died for the sin of the w0orld. That includes all people from every country of they will accept His sacrifice. He, Yeshua, is the ONLY way to eternal life.

  • @ljackso:

This claim of yours is based on a belief that the Bible is the written word of God. For others who are perhaps more objective, the Bible is patchy collection of writings from numerous authors, edited and translated by countless others, the identities of whom are largely unknown, over hundreds of years. The Bible may contain beauty and wisdom, the but not everybody believes its origins are divine, especially when you actually read the Bible.

  • @spacekangaroo : Each of us must decide for himself/herself if the Bible is the Word of God. I believe it is. There are many "beautiful" religions, with Islam being the exception, but none of them will get you to heaven. Only through Yeshua (Jesus) can one receive forgiveness of sin and eternal life. May you find peace in the truth of God's word.

  • @ljackso:

Yes, each of us must decide for ourselves whether the Bible is the Word of God. And based on an analysis of the Bible and its history, one can very reasonably come to the conclusion that the Bible is NOT the word of God. Like I said, the Bible's origins are very mysterious and it takes a lot of assumption to believe that this patchy collection of writings of the true word of God. I do not believe God rewards people for putting aside their (God-given) critical thinking skills.

  • @spacekangaroo : There is nothing wrong with questioning, everyone does that. What is important is what you do with the facts. All the founders of various religions may have been great men/women but they all died and are still dead except for Jesus Christ. He proved He was God by rising from the dead. The empty tomb is the HOPE of Christians. Because Jesus rose from the dead we who believe will one day be raised to life as well. The death of this physical body is not the end. Maranatha!

  • @ljackso You're NOT the body but a divine soul.Whatever is material has to die.Soul is eternal like God,never born, never to die.Jesus was NOT God,he survived his crucifixion &went to India where he died in Kashmir at older age.Jesus left no spiritual philosophy,no real knowledge about God and soul & their relationship.Bible simply means "a book".Vedas mean eternal breath of God,they are part of God &they are manifested every time an earthly planet is created.Dogmatism creates only fanaticism.

  • @Vedantka: According to the Bible (the ONLY true Word of God) God breathed into Adam and Adam became a living Soul. God is the giver of Life. Many religions teach peace and love and that is good. However, there is only ONE way to Heaven and eternal life and that is through Yeshua (Jesus). Yeshua stated "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me". He proved He was God incarnate when He died on the cross and rose from the dead three days later.

  • @ljackso I do not believe in this non-sense.Sorry!You do not even know that heavenly planets belong to material dimension &ultimate goal of a soul is The Divine Abode of God that is beyond material dimension.Sanatana Dharma is the Eternal Way of Truth.Christianity is man made and Jesus is not God.He was a pious yogi trying to preach Vedic knowledge, quite unsuccessfully.

  • @Vedantka: One day YOU will stand before Yeshua (Jesus) and He will remind you that I told you the truth. Yeshua is the Judge of ALL things. If you open your heart to the truth Yeshua will reveal Himself to you. Peace.

  • @ljackso At the moment of death you will know truth for a fraction of a second before your soul will have to accept another body. You are eternal soul and this body once gone can never be resurrected. That's the law of material world. But follow whatever you think is right for you; as long as you are at least tolerant to Sanatana Dharma, your personal convictions are harmless.Namaste

  • @Vedantka: At the moment of death my Spirit will return to God from whence it came. God is the giver of Life. I will live with Him forever. I am His child and He loves me. I will have a new body, one without spot or blemish. Perfect in form and function. I have prayed for you. Seek the truth while there is still time. Peace.

  • @ljackso Your truth is absolutely not convincing to me.But believe in whatever you like.Bible has for me no knowledge of God.Period.

  • @Vedantka lol stupid people coming to comment on other culture videos. They will never accept truth, they will just lie lie & lie.

  • @rodtorre7 I'm actually from another culture(Poland) but my intellect and my heart accepted Vedic scriptures as the eternal breath of God.There is nothing on this Earth that matches the perfection of Sanatan Dharm.

  • @ljackso I hate fundamentalist cunts like u. Who try to show other culture inferior. ALL FUNDAMENTALIST SHOULD BE KILLED.

  • @rodtorre7 " Really! You want to kill me because I have told you that God loves you and has provided a way for you to have your sins forgiven? I believe that the bible is the only true and complete word of God. I believe there is only ONE true God and He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He loves ALL people and wants to save everyone. What is so wrong with that? He loves you so much that He took upon Himself flesh and died on the Cross so YOU could get into heaven. I have prayed for you.

  • @ljackso ur no less that AL-QAEEDA, TALIBAN. u know what u r PSYCHO. CHILD ABUSING MISSIONARY.

Where did i said I WANT TO KILL YOU? Ur religion teaches u LYING & DECEIT.

  • @ljackso:

  • Enchantingly lulling, lullingly haunting, hauntingly sinister and sinisterly enchanting

There's no more that I can say and no more can be said than what I have said

  • Good morning all shivbhakt, from nl

  • whats up with home fry's dead tiger carpet ?

  • @numchaps20 There was a story about how the Rishis came together to destroy Lord Shiva and sent many creatures to destroy him. They sent snakes which he picked up and made a garland to wear around his neck, then they sent a tiger which with the nail of his pinky finger skin it alive and retained the fur, last but not least, they sent a dwarf like demon to battle him, but simply knocked him over and proceeded to do a dance upon its back, the dance was so hypnotic, the Rishis asked forgiveness.

  • Please no more talk about Shiva's or any of the Hindu Gods skin color, because it doesn't matter. These types of questions and racist ideology is what feeds the caste systems in India and the controversies and attitudes of fair-skin versus dark-skin and I despise that type of thing!

  • Great....

  • Vibrations from His dance: carrying info from server to your computer, in your computer now, making 00010101 coded in CPU constantly relocating electric charges from one cell of the RAM to another one, and transforming the code audio wave by sound chip and sending / through dynamics into your ears and being received and processed by your brain by same vibrations... to form various emotions and meanings, which are stored before by the same vibrations.

  • I am blessed to have listened to this chant. Thank you so much!

  • Lord Shiva is the god of the material universe which is referred to a Maya. All Maya is illusion and subject to destruction. Shiva is the Alpha and the Omega of the material universe. The gnostics would refer to him as the Demiurge. People want to think of Shiva as evil when in reality he is the balance and remover of obstacles in our world. Through his Shakti we understand the true nature of our universe which is creation and destruction constantly in flux. It is the natural process of things.

  • I meant "as Maya", I hate making typos.

  • Karpur Gauram Karunavataram Sansara Saram Bhujagendra Haram

Sadava Santam Hridayar Vande, Bhavam Bhavani Sanhitam Namami.

My dear Friend, neve argue with the person who possess higher knowledge. I not only worship Shiva but I inhale & exhale Shiva with me.

I can quote several other Shlokas too, but this is the simple one to start with.

Trust me Shiva is white, Vishnu is dark like the clouds, according to Rishis.

    Om Namah Shivay

  • I agree.... Shiva is Alpha and Omega of the material culture. To him all devotees are same - whether human, Dev, or Danav. he's called Bhola - Bhandari... :)

  • The 10th avataar is Kalki in kali yug.Lord Shiva is the universe as it is now. He is the exploding universe as we are on Earth hurtling at 35,000 KM/Sec. The Egg is expanding however after 500 crore years SUn will be destroyed. Then after than the universe will stop expanding and then contract. The Nataraj statue of Lord Shiva depicts this greatest truth. So We have Lord Brahma, the creator, Lord Vishu, Sustainer, Lord SHiva , the destroyer. Nothing escapes this cycle. Everything is boundby this

  • @sathshan - Great information, please write me a link s where I can have this complete information. OM

  • HiranyaGarbha means the golden womb. Upanishads say that 1400 crore years ago a small golden womb started to explode. . The shape of this is an egg. It is called BrahmaAand, Big EGG. The universe is in the shape of an egg.Brahma, the creator, came and created all the stars, about 500 crore years created sun and 432 crore years(1 Brahma Day) ago created Earth. Lord Vishnu then came to create life in the form of fish, tortoise, boar, lion, dwarf man, uncivlized man, Ram, Balram(farmer) krishna.

  • whoever did that starting piece of music...he rulz...

although it sounds familiar,.... none the less good work!

  • Hiya Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the title incorrect Hiranyagarbha (of a golden womb) is a name by which Surya-narayan is addressed, I think this should be named Namaskaratha or Rudraopasana. Om Namo Hiranya-bahave Hiranya-varnyaya Hiranya-roopaya Hiranya-pataye Ambikapataya Umapataye Pashupataye Namo Namah Ishaan Mantra: Ishaana Sarvavidyanam Ishvara Sarvabhutanam Brahmadhipati Brahmanodhipati Brahma Shivo Me Astu Sadashiva Om CONT..

  • please add me as friennd. i want to take parshadam of your knowledge

    thanks

  • Hiranyagarbha is the Soul of the Universe, Shiva, the Parabrahman... Hiranyagarbha is one of the names of Shiva

  • Khushi Ji,

As we know, Shiva's skin color is golden so he is known as Hiranyakrupaya though Hiranyagarbhaya is the popular name for Surya

Om Aghore Bhyo Thaghore Bhya Ghoraghora Tarebhya

Sarvebhyaha sarva sarvebhyo Namasteastu Rudra Rupebhya (Rudra, 3rd form)

Om Tatpurushapya Vidmahe Mahadevaya Dhimahi Tanno Rudrha Prachodayat (Tatpurush, 4th form)

Om Ishanaha Sarva Vidhyanama Ishwaraha Sarva Bhootanam

BrahmaAdhipati BrahmanoAdhipati BrahmaShivomeda Astu Sada Shiva OM (Ishan, 5th form)

  • @ndave001 Shiva's skin color is actually black, his lover and shakti Parvati's skin is golden. In Shiva's truest form he is Kali and her skin is also black. You have to remember that Shiva was originally worshiped by the South Indians and they are very dark skinned (Dravidians, Sindh, and Tamils).

  • skin color always defines such beings. Expand your mind and who gives a fuck about skin color your so smart i am sure your friends tell you all the time.with love and respect please meditate just once for the benifitt of all being

  • Someone asked a question and I answered it, that's all. I could care less about skin color personally since I have brown skin myself. I am half Indian and Puerto Rican.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan There is a popular hymn about lord shiva, which is as follows: karpoor gaurang karuna avataaram sansaar saaram bhujgendrahaaram, sadaa vasantaam hridyaar vinde bhavam bhavaani sahitam namami.

karpoor gaurang means the one who is as white as camphor, so i believe that lord shiva is very fair and not dark as you have mentioned. Infact godess parvati is also fair skinned and is known as Gauri but she becomes blackskinned when she takes the form of kali.

  • @nighthawk5024 Shiva is usually covered in funeral ashes from head to toe obscuring his skin color, however he is usually referred to as Shiva shankara kala meaning he who is Lord of the Black-skinned. You're right about Parvati because the term Gauri or Goura in the ancient Sanskrit and Persian means white-skinned; Durga then Kali is the triple-goddess aspect from golden skinned to black. However these skin colors refer to moksha not race even though the South Indians are dark-skinned.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan True that shiva covers himself with ash from time to time but underneath the layer of ash his skin colour still remains white. As far as shiva being referred to as "shiva shankar kala" is concerned i suppose that kala refers to time and not skin color. for example he is known as mahakala meaning the Great lord of time. shiva is the lord of all irrespective of skin color. He is the lord of the devas, asuras, yakshas, gandharvas, kinnaras, bhootas, pretas, pashus etc.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan skin color refers to moksha not race???? sorry but i could not understand this part of your comment.

  • @nighthawk5024 Moksha are the designations of the gods and their duties to mankind. I think you're repeating what I've tried to tell you. That Lord Shiva's body is a vessel that starts out black (kala means both black and time) from the impurities and goes back to being white (not just from the funeral ashes). Like I said, a celestial mood ring in anthropomorphic form.

  • @nighthawk5024 The word for golden-skinned or face of gold is Surat-taalo or Surat-taaloee. These words are used to describe Parvati and Saraswati in their purist form and not just Gauri.

  • @nighthawk5024 Actually I made a mistake. Moksha means liberation, I actually meant Artha which means purpose or duty. People seek moksha from artha when trying to break the Karmic cycle of rebirth.

  • @nighthawk5024 What I'm saying is that Shiva's skin color and body is more like a celestial mood ring. When he is removing the impurities of the material world from his body, it starts out black then becomes ghostly white (funeral ashes are also impurities). You have to realize that Lord Shiva is usually called upon to remove the poisons of the universe because that's his designation; the best way to describe him as a "Cosmic Filter". That's why he is both revered and reviled at the same time.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan well i would say that the scriptures such as the vedas and puranas declare shiva to be fair skinned and so do some shlokas. so he has to be fair skinned. you are right in saying that lord shiva removes the poisons of the universe. He accepts all that is foul, unclean and rejected and destroys the corruptions within them. He is thus, the renewer, the regenerator, the transformer.

  • OM NAMAH SHIVAYA!!!!!
