great performance but his voice changed. back then in 1989... his voice was awesome.

I disagree! In 1989 he'd only just started training his voice, which has improved dramatically since. It was maybe more risque' but less controlled. I concede that this isn't perhaps his best moment, but, admittedly, this is one of the hardest songs to do live! However, after a dodgy start he did nail it, did he not!
