Unfortunately, yes. If desired (and your stomach is strong), you can find a clip of the injury on YouTube
(search "McGahee injury"). Theismann and Brian Butch (Wisconsin basketball player) suffered the only two injuries I can think of that were as gruesome as McGahee's. Very glad to see Willis was able to recover and succeed in the pros.
^^^ Sorry, just checked it. Some idiot Ohio State fan changed it to something about the Gamble interference, while removing the information about the actual overtime call. The link at the bottom of the page is still good though: Cane's interference call looks right.
The PI in the endzone was the right call. I have the photo proof. Sharpe grabbed arms, shoulder and jersey...along with facemask on that play. ABC kept showing the replay that didn't show his hands until after the fact. Cryami fans and haters just use that as a poor excuse. GO BUCKEYES!!!
that was a bad pass inteference call in the championship game but dont the refs called a bad call on the buckeyes in the 4th quarter. I go to O State but im tryna be fair. Clarett was the man. i hate the fact that the whole city turned against him but if it wasnt for him we wouldnt be champs.
Yea, you can call it Thug U all you want, it still doesn't change the fact that the buckeyes were given that national championship nicely gift wrapped in black and white striped colors.
LOL, stop being a poor sport. Miami lost fair and square, stop bitching about something that happened 4years ago. Both teams played hard and OSU came out on top, thats how the cookie crumbles.
It isn't like that one loss forever crippled the Miami program or anything. I mean, they still compete for National Championships every year! Oh wait...nevermind. Have fun with mediocrity and fighting FIU players.
Just in those highlights, there were huge plays by Peterson, Krenzel, Clarett, Doss, Gamble, Allen, Hall, Jenkins, Grant, Fox, Scott, Smith and Doss. Pretty much personified how much of a team effort the entire season was.

Look the Fiesta Bowl game up on wikipedia. The call was clearly the correct one to make from the field.

It's easy to forget how good Clarett was. He blew through those holes like a truck.
