  • Strange thing is he was moving in the car after the crash and didn`t appear to have life threatening injuries.

  • now, when a racer dies at any event, the event is cancelled and the results are scrapped.

  • After he was scraped up, It was back to Green Flag Racing.

  • I love how the announcer just passes through the death like nothing happened and finished the recap of the race

  • hah, no shit, doug kalita

  • Is the Doug Kalitta that won the race, the same one that runs top fuel dragsters now? It looked like him standing in victory lane, but I couldn't tell for sure.

  • @bcbbcb1 i think it is

  • @bcbbcb1 and mike bliss and kenny irwin jr are all nascar drivers but sadly kenny irwin passed away in 2001 :(

  • @machiiniiima Actually, Irwin died in 2000.

  • @24RulezJG i know but im too lazy to retype

  • @bcbbcb1 Yes, it is the same person. He is Connie Kalittas' nephew....

  • @drumsyeah Oh, that's cool! I had no idea that the Kalitta's did circle track racing. I thought they only drag raced.

  • Ahhh TNN

  • this doesnt make sense he was moving around

  • @XxSiiCkXKiilZxX The driver who died was in the car in the upper left hand part of the screen (looks like he got violently t-boned and spun to me, but you only see the car after the main impact)

  • @XxSiiCkXKiilZxX the very top left of the screen...not the middle

  • Inigoblue555 there midget racers

  • Funny how the title is "Robbie Stanley Fatal Crash'" yet, we don't see him wreck, we see the white car with a blue cage.

  • @RandomUnicorns123: He is the one of the top left corner, when they show the accident of that guy with the blue cage. Around the 0:28 mark.

  • What was Stanley's age at the time of death?

  • Robbie is in the 69, top of the screen in that sequence. It was just a bad, bad turn of events. Unavoidable contact in the worst possible place. It was just time for Robbie to get on up there with Vogler, Sachs, Brayton, Senna, Savage, Pollard, all those guys. The field was waiting. R(ace)IP, young racer.

  • Seems like a lot of people have died in that 69 car. I watched Vogler drift away at Salem in the duplicate of that car.

  • robbie was one of the best, a hard charger that never gave up.

  • who is eric gordon

  • @blacksolar212 Eric was one of the greatest pavement sprint car drivers in early to late 90's. Never really had any big name sponsors but could set up a car on an pavement track in Indiana. He is still around today but no longer racing just helping with set-ups for other people.

  • Am ominous top 5. Doug Kalitta's cousin, Scott, Eric Gordon, and Kenny Irwin Jr. RIP

  • @spudracer13 Yes Its The Same Doug Kalitta. He also ran a few ARCA races too.

  • doug kallita the same that runs nhra top fuel dragsters today

  • which car is stanley?

  • The car at the top left of the screen @ 0:30.

  • @RacingAccidents isn't he moving @ 0:30, I think I can see his hand adjusting his helmet

  • @blacksolar212 That is not Robbie Stanley moving his hand @ 0:30. Look closely and this car has a blue roll cage. Robbie's had a red roll cage and had number 69 (the car you see in the beginning of this video).

Ironically- the title to this YouTube video says "Robbie Stanley Fatal Crash" but you don''t actually "see" his car in the wreck.
