Some preachers say that bad things makes us better in the long run, some say it's because Adam and Eve bit the apple. In ancient Israel, it was because you committed too many evil acts (sin). The Bible doesn't hold God to high standers like most Christians do. I consider myself a Christian, but with deist views. God said he gave us full control and free will. Some say everything happens for a reason but it doesn't. Everything is by random chance, we are not robots. I happen to think God chooses to not interact with the physical universe. He doesn't save some children from being tortured, while not saving others because it's his ''will''. That's a disgusting belief in my opinion.

God never gives us something we can't handle.. I've been through something that has changed me, even though i didn't want it to. My heart has been wounded so much that i don't think it can be healed completely and i can change back to who i was. So, i can in all honesty say that what God gave me, was absolutely more than i could handle. Something inside me has died, and i can't find it back, no matter how hard i try. I want to trust people, i want to have hope for the future but i can't anymore

Why does God allow suffering pain etc. Its quite simple from the beginning The Lord gave us a gift of free will. Eve ate that piece of fruit and sin entered the world. From that moment on mankind brought all of this pain upon itself. For if God came down and took out all the suffering it would make him not be an infallible deity. this is why we needed Christ upon the cross as a way out.

love is in the eye of its beholder. the things God does are not good or bad, but when we judge them upon our own human criteria they will fit into certain categories. If an event occurs first of all that doesn't mean it's caused by god, it's probably caused by a prior event (cause to effect), and these events can harm others and be viewed as bad things. Do some research in Ethics, it discusses morality such as good and bad things (really, look it up, it's interesting).

the problem of pain is not the biggest weapon. the lack of evidence for god's existence is your biggest problem. You claim a supernatural god exists and angels and miracles, yet you have no proof that any of it exists. just personal experiences a 2000 year old book. Let me get this straight.
1. GOD created 2 people, Adam & Eve.
2. He told them NOT to eat the fruit from the forbidden tree
3 They ate the fruit and because of THEIR ACTIONS, we as a human race have to suffer. Not for something WE DID., but because of 2 people that GOD created did.

@chri5784 he created adam and eve knowing that they would sin. also because they ate the apple they disobeyed God's command, which makes adam the father of sin. we carry this tradition of sin through generations and continue to sin and disobey Gods commandments. He sent us Christ for this reason, to bridge the gap between sin and everlasting life for all of those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior. I would recommend the book The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, an atheist turned Christian.

An omnipotent being, that created everything, could easily fill the sky and let the whole world know it exists and the stories are true. But you know and I know that will never happen.

If you listen to the above video, maybe things would make a little sense or better yet, read the new testament because the old one is just based on laws of God. @abx547 Have you read the New Testament? That one talks about the coming of Jesus and the many good things he has done for people like you and me. We are both sinners but the thing is to not self condemn ourselves. Jesus was never a narcissist or a psychopath. He wanted die on the cross for our sins. And God can remove sin if only people asked him to. But despite us being sinner, Jesus still loves us. Just read the New Testament and you'll see. :)

love is in the eye of its beholder. the things God does are not good or bad, but when we judge them upon our own human criteria they will fit into certain categories. If an event occurs first of all that doesn't mean it's caused by god, it's probably caused by a prior event (cause to effect), and these events can harm others and be viewed as bad things. Do some research in Ethics, it discusses morality such as good and bad things (really, look it up, it's interesting).

God says the rain falls on the just & the unjust,but later the just will be rewarded in eternity.You can let the suffering rule you or you can rule it.Sometimes it brings a strength in you that you will be able to help others get through their suffering. The common misconception is that God causes evil, when man is the one who causes evil. Adam made a choice to pick evil or good in the garden.He chose evil.
