been a while sense ive read the books. all i remember is that he falls in love with his main nemesis, Kitty, some demon takes over this magician, and Nathainless realizes he is currupt with power, and blows himself up after he releases barty, and bartimaous was all like saying nathaneil was an ok guy or sumthing. am i right?

I absolutely loved this trilogy and everyone in it. Bartimaeus was the best charecter I have seen in a long time, and Nathaniel and Kitty were equally wonderful.

Well, *sighs* I just finished the last book...Damn, it was depressing. It was the best in my opinion, but still....Poor Nat. I loved him. I could never pick between him or Bartimaeus before this book. Now, I REALLY can't pick. My respect and liking of Kitty and Ptolemy-someone I've always been interested in-went up too.

Kitty should just be in shock and not be thinking much and just try summoning Bartimaeus, but she won't because she's tough that way. In a sad way, this could be better though. It was a great trilogy

It gives you a sense that the hero is incredibly valiant. While it was sad that Nathaniel died, he couldn't have seemed any more heroic than he did right there at that moment.
