Tama...been watching your videos for 5-6 years now and you always knock it out of the park. One question if you have time; what are you doing to kill the sustain on the splash you hit at the :28 second mark? Even on my splashes (Sabians) it takes them a while to die, but yours splashes then kills. Any suggestions to give my splashes a simlir quick sustain action like yours?

@ramairluvr I don't do anything special. The Paragon splashes do not have a very long decay and a strong attack so it gets there in a hurry and you then lost the rest in the noise...

I'm only a part-time player (mainly Friday nights for stress relief from work) and haven't been able to justify to my wife the money it would take to buy the Sabians...lol. I do have the Neil Peart Sig Series Paragon HH (13") but that set me back on "toy" buying for quite some time. Keep on posting your great vids!

@sch636392 No, the original tracks are there. I mix my drums a bit louder than the track and try to play as exactly as possible to hide The Professor. ;)

Nice job! Question for you. I have been looking at a new china cymbal. The one you use at 1:15, is that the 20"? Not the Diamondback, right? Also, your main workhorse for the song is the 19" it looks like. I love the sound of that one.

@asicerik The one just above my floor toms is the 20". The one higher and further in the back is the 19". The Diamondback is in between (and I'm sure if they ever play this song again that Neil would use it somehow in there).

@thunderfan77 Hmmm, I dunno. Looks ok to me but I know that for some people, synchronization can be an issue. YT also sometimes mess things up. I spend lots of time making sure that the synchro is good and will never upload anything until it sounds ok. I blame YT. :(

@Snus83 Some day I guess... I like The Weapon very much although it might not have aged too well. Some parts in it have always giving me trouble on the drums so it will take some practice. I have other songs on the list but I'll get to it some day... ;)
