i live in los angeles, moving to arkansas mountains soon looking to hookup with ppl that would be intrested in doing something like this like building your own community all helping all.
i've seen the house and i'm wondering why you can't tell the refuse on the property from the home? sorry to say - the place looks like a dump. at least straw-bale homes are visually pleasing.
Sure glad to see someone use the rammed earth and tire type building technique. I am glad that you did not call it an Earthship sinc while is similar is is a great hybrid Earthship type. Keep up the good work!
Incredible and beautiful video! My heart is beating with excitement. I wanna build one! inexpensive, close to nature, passive solar, grey water systems.
Could you pack a tire with limestone1/4 down? we have so much of it in our area here on the Canadian prairies.
I am so emotionally moved to action. I just gotta have one.
i actually had tears in my eyes listening to her. can you imagine if they gave all the poor people in america houses like this? we wouldn't have to worry any more about them. They would be instantly productive citizens, even if they did nothing but sat on their butt.
I'm a political scientist and the u.s. government bill for taking care of people is more than what they're telling people. we could save so much money if we did this on a mass scale.
what do you do with the left over pieces of for example wood and stuff?
I've heard that there is a solution, dont remember what it was though.

Way to go Pat! It is difficult to find areas in the US that have zoning approval for earthships. Are the earthships approved in all of Canada?
