My favourite has to be Ahtoy's performance under "Ahtoy and Tomas from Santo Rico" on YouTube. She brough in much of her ballroom background to her show. The 1st part of the cha cha is a cheer delight to watch. She demonstrated a perfect combination of ballroom and salsa.

As a Cuban salsa dancer, I would love to take her to my favourite hangout after I saw her performance from "Santo Rico D.C." on YouTube.

Ahtoy ingeniously incorporates body rolls, hip and torso rolls, shoulder shimmy and rolls and spins into her choreography. Techniques from ballet, ballroom, jazz, hip pop & salsa are also applied into her teaching.

New cha cha piece is beautifully done with her reminder that presentation should not be rushed although the tempo is slow. 4 & 8 count should be danced, unlike their usual rest in salsa & there should be more upper body movements which are lengthened through the fingers.

Ahtoy teaches the best class in lady's styling and performance! Instructions are clear and precise, easy to follow, very detailed. Choreography is varied each class with carefully chosen music. Techniques in spinning are elaborated as well as emphasis on stage presence and sharpness. I can feel music way better than before. Now I'm a much better social dancer with an urge to perform.

Ahtoy is REALLY HOT! Ahtoy is also blessed with a brilliant mind.

I guess only someone with many years of ballet and ballroom training can choreograph this piece and present it with such grace and power. Yet many of your students who have zero days of traing in those fileds are also inspired by you and practice their butt off to try to present the piece to their best of abilities--it might look funny, but it's sure a lot of fun to work with it.
