  • Whats best the Cry baby or this V2 ? :D

  • how much did you get for your wh10?

  • gee i wonder if he likes Chili Peppers :P lmao

  • hey i got problem with this wah. When i turn it on i can hear something... a bit like sand or smthing. And when i notes on low strings i can hear it too. Also when i turn it on signal become... silent. Rly fuckin silent. Any solution for that? volume is rly big problem here ;/

  • rock on dude !!

  • what effect is green box?

  • @Zeinishe Maxon OD808. It's basicaly a tube screamer. Maxon designed the TS808 for Ibanez.

  • what the diffrence between this pedals and the jimi wah pedal i kinda like this one better :( i wanna get it so bad and john uses it too

  • I'm starting to love this wah pedal.

  • Ibanez WH10 wah wah pedal demo Gay version

  • This video was alright, but there should have been two google-ee eyes pasted to that sock and a red yarn smile.

  • Well, I have one (WH10V2) on order. Hopefully, it will be here by next weekend. I'll post a demo ASAP!

  • HOLY SHIT. Yes.

  • they're for sale now in the us on a bunch of websties (reissues)

I say you should find one that lets you do returns, buy it, see how it compares to this one, and return it if you don't like it

  • I will be buying one soon! Christmas has me in a bind for cash to spend on myself at the moment, but I will be picking one up!

  • best wah pedal ever

  • @PabloMoll86 Because of the sound only, quality is as poor as the worst wah ever. This wah sucks all the tone of your guitar almost, if you've got a good guitar like a fender stratocaster, don't connect that into this because it will not sound the same..

  • @alexjamess

    Frusciante sounds good =)

  • @bernich88 yeah man you bet, but he has 3 massive-attack marshalls, equalizers, and a hole crew behind his guitar you know?

  • If any of you happen to see a reissue for sale, let me know! I might buy one up and make a demo with the same guitar/ same amp so we can hear the difference in tone!!!

  • Pretty sure you can pre order one from ibanez website

  • Have you ordered one? I might wait until they have some I can demo at Guitar Center.

  • I'm definitely not buying one until I can try it. Even then, I don't think I'll get one, cause I already have 2 wahs (one I'm going to sell, but I've just never gotten around to it.) and also when people see it they automatically think: Frusciante clone. I don't want to sound like John, even though he's one of my favorite guitarists. It's just that I'd rather be shitty and unique than sound like anyone else.

  • but then again, who cares what other people think, I might just pick one up b/c it sounds soo good.

  • Good call! I didn't use mine to cover RHCP. I seemed to used it mainly to play Hendrix songs oddly enough!

  • @NXC78 ODDLY enuf/!?!?

wat the heck u talkin bout

hendrix uses so much wah in his songs

he basically made it famous in rock

  • @CYCanaan what I meant by that was that Hendrix used an inductor based wah. They have a really different tone imho. check my Area 51 vs WH10 demo and you will hear the difference.

  • hey dude its me wasup, have u got a black wh-10 for sale?

  • Nope, this was the only one I've owned.

  • that would be immense if you could, im SO exited about the reissues, hope there as good as the real thing!

  • Awesome pedal

  • jajajajaja damn im very lost hen thanx

  • Can you tell me? As the reissue is gonna have the same switch, does this pedal suck your tone?

  • Are you asking if the new pedal will have true bypass? If so, I am not sure. Someone else here may know and will hopefully chime in.

  • No they reissue wil not be truebypass but have the same switching system as the old one. So that's why I'm asking, does the old one suck tone?

  • Understood, it didn't seem to suck tone, imho.

  • one quesstion about tje wah pedal , i cant find it in any store , it is beacuse its no longer in sell or what __ pls anwser

  • Wh10 is a vintage pedal and they havent sold one for 20 years but there starting to sell them this october.

  • Is your set up going guitar-> wh-10 -> maxon -> amp or is it guitar->maxon->wh-10->amp

  • It was guitar, wh10, maxon, amp.

  • i wna buy one of them but i dno where,like £150?

  • Dont buy one wh10 v2 is coming out this autumn

  • I know this sounds strange...but it actually makes me a feel a bit better that it's going to cost more than $100. I was worried that it won't stand up to the original but I guess we'll all see when it comes out.

  • Hopefully the reissue will live up to the origional's sound quality. I serously doubt that it will only cost around 100 bucks. Most quality wah pedals go for around 150ish. Guess we will see!

  • NXC78 you are one lucky dude. Sold this thing for a shitload, then they end up making a reissue. XD

  • Hey every one the people who say the new WH-10 will cost $100 are wrong ibanez's press release said it will list for $153.83 sounds a little random but its true also it comes out in october

  • Dont worry, thats just the MSRP. American Strats MRSP claims around $1,600 when they sell at Guitar Center for around $1,200

  • well on zzounds it $99.95. there are 2 sites that have them up for preorder and they are both $100.

  • ibanez is going to rebuild the wh10 V2!!!

COMMING OUT THIS YEAR for 99$

  • when are they coming out im so pumped

  • its supposed to be availible in fall

  • is that the black version?

  • It's the grey version. Same components except metal exterior instead of plastic, make it more secure. Exactly the same inside.

  • I checked Ibanez's website and took a look. The stock photo of the reissue looks exactly like the origional. the only difference I noticed was the guitar/bass mode switch stuck out slightly farther (a good thing) and the mounting screws were more recessed. It first I thought they may have used an old stock photo of the origional pedal, but the subtle differences you'll notice say otherwise...

  • i already ordered my WH-10V2

  • where can you get these nowadays

  • ebay, unless you can find a dealer online thats selling one.

  • I keep coming back to this b/c the wh-10 plus the maxon has such an insane sound. I was wondering, what are your settings on the od808 and on your amp? It sounds fantastic!

Keep it up man, and if you ever get another one of those wh10 wahs and you wanna sell it, tell me!

  • Thanks, the amp was at a real low volume, it was late at night. The maxon was set at full drive with the balance at about 50%. The tone knob was at at about 1 o'clock. bridge pickup on the strat.

  • hmm... i wonder what his OD808 settings are... i mean, the pedal is way too far away in the video for us to see for ourselves... :|

  • That sounds sooo sick man. Too bad someone already bought it. How much was that Maxon od/distortion?

  • Hi man, let me ask you another question, What font are you using to connect the WH10? Because i just bought one (im waiting to get it from europe) and i want to know if i can connect with mine, i use one that i connect to boss pedals, and cry baby dunlop.

    Thanks

  • The Wh10 uses standard cables like any other pedal if that is what you are asking.

  • you should do a demo with the distortion before the wah... just as john frusciante uses...just to see how it sounds in others hands...

  • Will do if I get time before I sell it. I have a Boss Turbo Distortion II like John uses. If i get some time I will do another demo using the boss and maybe a BC108 fuzz face.

  • i want that wah so bad but its going to get over 250. i cant afford that right now, plus my dad will be shitting a cow if he sees i want a $250 pedal.

  • Great man, What distortion????

  • It's a Maxon OD808. It is a clone of the Ibanez TS808 only the on/off switch isn't so crappy. Like the Tube Screamer, it uses the JRC4558 IC chip. My friend has a reissue TS808 and we compaired them side by side. They sound exactly the same. Maxon is the company that actually designed the tube screamer for Ibanez. It's not a bad pedal.

  • Thanks for the info man
