the 4 speed is what made it the fastest yz450f. The only reason they stopped making it is because the power was way too uncontrollable for the track.

yeah it would be ok on a track with not long straigt aways but if u ride in more open places it sucks plus the valves need adjusting too much

The bike still clocked at 80mph on the gps and I do mainly ride on tracks. I got the bike on september 5 and this video was shot on september 7 so i didnt care about the valves i just wanted t try it out. Valves have been adjusted since this video

I just bought a 03 yz450f and my stock exhaust is rubbing on my tire when rear shock compresses. Any 1 else have this happen??

Never happened to me. you might want to and a few links to the chain and pull the wheel back. Or what id do is buy a fmf 4.1 system exhaust.

not really . just make sure the guy showa u how to change the oil because it runs through the frame and is little complicated. other than that ur fine

the oil literally runs inside of the frame and through the motor. get a manuel. it shows u step by step on how to do it. cause its kind of confusing
