FYI, as chrismc89 has stated, Interpol is not breaking up. Listen to the interview link on the right in the comments, as Paul explains alot. Interpol will continue to make more music :)

Please note that Paul did this album during the break Interpol took...Carlos took the time to dabble in movies, for example. Each member did their own thing, but they unite to make more Interpol songs, which are quite different fromt these.

Interpol are still alive and kicking. They are currently recording their forth album. I posted a video the other day where Julian Plenti says he's juggling the two.

I've also found out about 4 months ago they had recorded 5 songs, so don't worry.

This Julian Plenti project is what Paul did before Interpol, and he said he just had to release this stuff while he was still in the game.

They're recording it now. I heard a couple of months ago they had 6 tracks done. So it's coming, maybe give it another 6 months to a year.

They also stated they were recording etc via a message on their official website.

I recommend you listen to the the full album, it's actually really good.
