That some nice sounds from that amp , those picks are a rip off of v-picks tho , I reviewed them and found the guy was working for Vinni and ripped him off bigtime , take care ;)
@Jelzkrim They did it for advertising. He makes a review on their brand of picks, people watch it, Ben gets free picks and they (hopefully) get more sales.
Ive done a few reviews on picks i like them. And youll find that loads of other people on youtube do it to and youll also find that a pick isnt just a pick.
Hey, Benni...I'd be interested to see/hear your thoughts on wooden picks (like Timber Tones). I still can't decide whether I like them or hate them, but if you do...remember to try a bunch of different woods.
but why are they BETTER than dunlops? if you want my service then you need to be innovative and better! i havent looked at prices but being made in cali they are probly a pretty high price, so, theyd really have to stand out to get my purchase
I never said they were better i said they were similar im size, shape and thickness. I said if you like the dunlops then you may also like these. I never said they were BETTER. There subjective things, theres no "better" its all personal preference.
@benwilshire totally agree about personal preference, im just not the kinda guy to spend 5 bucks on one pick. by the way, im really liking the change in your style!
I think the main thing for me with these picks and V picks is that there alot more hard wearing. I get through celluloid picks and delrin picks really quickly and dull rounded picks sound crap for my style of playing and these picks and V picks just seem near invincible. Still use an array of picks (and my fingers) though, what ever fits the need i guess!
@benwilshire ya i hate rounded picks soooo much, and basically the only picks i use are jazz lll`s. i dont pick too hard so the last a while, at least long enough for me.
i got the dunlop version of the gravity pick on my recommendation - he shipped extra fast and is a man of his word - great stand up guy to deal with. one thing i dislike about gravity picks are that they have this more pronounced chirp to them based on the material they are made of. they are extremely solid and very lightweight - excellent control and very easy to manipulate for different playing styles/angles/etc. during use. biggest problem i had were they always wanted to turn in my hands :/
Ben, question: which help the best to play fast? Sik Piks, V-picks, Stonepicks, Gravity? And what are the differences? And which sound the best? In your opinion ofcourse. Thanks.
@MatthijsBudding Hi, I don't mean to answer for Ben but I have tried all kinds of picks and I am really liking the Sik-Piks for playing fast. They are strange at first and take some getting used to but for me they are great. Just thought I'd give you my opinion.
im addicted to those fingers of yours!

@ImaDjentleman these are modest in price compared to the Blue Chip -look those up. they are either $75 or $35 in price.

I have a stonepick I got at summer NAMM. feels nice, defintely different than what I'm used to. What are the gravity picks made from?
RNAMUSICShortStShred 4 months ago
@RNAMUSICShortStShred I believe the Gravity picks are made from acrylic. The same material V-picks are made from.
