  • LOVED THIS SONG!

  • Wow--White Heart is really good--they remind me of Toto.

Hey folks, I know you're probably busy; but, WOULD YOU PLEASE READ the following: I wrote a song from a phrase that my best friend, who was dying from cancer would say to me--”Mark, even if I don’t feel good, God is good”. He told me that even though he was dying, he was never happier in his life. Only God can do that. His name was Ron Williams. The song is titled--GOD IS GOOD EVEN IF; Just type: mark behrens (for the search)

    Thanks

  • Thanks for sharing!!!

  • We and the world need to be reminded of the power of forgiveness.

  • ***JUST A GREAT SONG, WITH A TIMELESS MESSAGE FOR ALL OF US!

  • i wonder what the 5 people who dislije this video found objectionable.

  • This song reminds me of how grateful I should be to be forgiven, and also how I need to forgive others as I've been forgiven.

  • thanks for upload

  • THESE GUYS ARE NOT JUST AWESOME, THEY BLOW AWAY ANY ROCK GROUP OF THE TIMES, JUST THINK WHILE ALL THE ROCK AND ROLLERS ARE MAKING A HUGH KILLING, THESE GUYS GIVE TO GOD...AND THAT MAKES THEM MUCH RICHER IN MY EYES.

  • great song message vocals 80tys produced some God loving bands wish they would get together and produce positive music, for todays world.

  • No this song is not from the Freedom CD but the first CD Read the Book. First CD with Rick Florian.

  • THESE GUYS WERE JUST ABSOLUTELY AWSOME THANKS BE TO GOD!! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THEM?

  • Love this song this is the soul of the rock christian music today but few has got the real passion..

  • Best Christian band of 80's. I went to all their concerts when they came to Taylor University (Florian's Alma Mater) and also 2011 #1 rated college in Midwest by US News & World Report. I believe this is third year in a row. Oh, I graduated from Taylor as well.

  • About 10 years ago I was planning on ending my life cause of abuse. This song came on KLOVE and saved me. I share this song in every situation that's requires forgiveness. It is a life saver. God is a good God.

  • god is so good to us.

  • 80's Christian rock! at it's best!

  • My favourite albums with Whiteheart are of course Freedom, Tales of Wonder and Highland :D But I have most albums of Petra :D All of them hehe :D 26 albums of Petra :D and 5 albums of Whiteheart <3

  • My favourite albums with Whiteheart are of course Freedom, Tales of Wonder and Highland :D But I have most albums of Petra :D All of them hehe :D 26 albums of Petra :D and 5 albums of Whiteheart <3

  • The best time in christian music!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song ministers to me so much. Thanks for sharing! God bless you!

  • Is Billy Smiley still in the band at this point or is he not here at this point

  • I just love this band!

  • thank you for posting this amazing video...!!!

  • I first heard this song over 20 years ago, and it had such a profound impact on my understanding of forgiveness that it has underpinned my Christian walk ever since. For that I am eternally grateful.

  • I saw Whiteheart in concert on this tour tour (Don't Wait for the Movie). Front row seats! I think the actual title of this song is How Many Times? (Seventy Times Seven).

  • I saw Whiteheart on this tour (Don't wait for the Movie) in 1986! Front row seats!

  • God has put it on my heart to pray and wait for my fiance, Lee, that I've been with for 3 years now. It's soooo hard to be patient and to love someone when they are being a prodical son.

  • It's easy to preach about forgiveness. But after 7 years of mudslinging and mocking and insult and it goes on and on. the song that goes on and on. Can you forgive when it does NOT stop?

  • Amen right on !

  • it's what Jesus told us that we must do...especially after His never failing forgiveness and love...

  • This song encourages me when I was hurting, or being dissapointed with my friends.

  • Check out David Meece. seventy times seven

  • Great Song

  • This song has really helped me in all that i have been going through. Thank you so much for posting.

  • This song gave me comfort in the 80's and it's so good to hear it again, so thanks!

  • is that really chris mchugh on the drums?

  • There is an internet station that plays alot of 70's,80's,90's and some current Christian music and comedy upperroomradio d o t com!! Check it out and tell me what you think!! I ran across it and love it!!

  • Jared Leto of 30 Sec to Mars sounds exactly like Rick Florian! Rick is such a sweet guy! I got to meet him and I'm following him on Twitter! Amazing pipes! I want to cover this song!!!

  • not a bad song but i dont like jesus very much

  • Hi riverdragon666. Nice playing. watched some of your videos. This i actually an old video. Thier later stuff was much more agressive. search youtube for a posting by thier drummer Whiteheart - Freedom Live at Soul2Soul Awards 2006 and also White Heart- Power House when they had longer hair. lol. In this 90's this band tore it up. By the way you the bass player on this and the Freedom video is Tommy Simms who co wrote "change the world" for Eric Clapton. A bit of triva.

  • thanks man i checked out some of their other stuff, pretty good

  • Why don't you like Jesus much? Trust me been there! Not anymore thou!

  • It doesn't matter if you like him, he loves you. Cliche, but... truth.

  • then you have not asked Him into your heart, or asked Him to prove Himself to you... it works,,, trust me]

  • That's ok baby. You don't have to like to Jesus to go to heaven. You should check out some of the great music. Christian music is awesome. It's a great way to get stories across. Check out this dude named Carman. LAZARUS. awesome. LOVE YA.

  • no problem.

  • He Loves You to death.

  • @riverdragon666 Are you saying that from personal experience with Jesus, or by reputation, or because of a bad experience with somebody who claimed to love or follow him?

  • @riverdragon666, You are not the only one who does not like Jesus andits ok, He still Loves and forgives way more than seventy times seven. He forgives more than we will ever will, he was beaten bruised spit at and abused violently yet he still allowed them to nail him to the cross. Now THAT is LOVE and forgivness.

  • Thats O.k., He likes you enough to think about you while they drove nails through his hands, and take your place so you could take his place in heaven.

  • @riverdragon666 i hope he reveals how much he loves you! Take it one day at a time

  • @riverdragon666 You may not like him, but remember he still loves you no matter what you say or do... :DDD...

  • Used to discover it about 2 weeks ago. For a very long time I had not been listening to such great track. It has got sth inside... hard to say. Next track by which Im constantly thinkin about the girl who said she loved me but it turned out she needed me to have sb and when it appeared to be lie that she loves as i loved her - she found sb else. I miss you honey, I don't know what I'll do without you. Pity you cannot see it. But on the other hand - would it bring anything? Probably not.

    Great.

  • @riverdragon666 Jesus is coming soon! I love Him!

  • This was the first time you hear this song, and I liked it very much ..............

  • I love this song! I even have it on my ipod!

  • This takes me back to 1987 when i got saved: Carman, Petra and White Heart were my first christian music tapes (yes tapes! ha, ha) i ever bought.

  • @missionarygirl70 me too! And I still have em to.

  • @missionarygirl70 I discovered CCM while working as a photographer on Fort Benning, Ga. in 86. So many groups I wish had heard doing my high school days in Chicago. A song titled "HARMONY" by The Cruse Family should be played over and over all around the world. A great song to push PEACE.bilbo2shire

  • @missionarygirl70 no Mylon?

  • Wish the new christian bands like "My Hearts Cry " would whach some bands that realy ministry in music /actions and humble themselfs befor the Lord..Amen

  • This song has got me through some tough times. When the world tells you "hurt me once shame on you, hurt me twice, shame on me" I can't tell you how many times I've been tested on this principle.

  • "Seventy Times Seven", on the LP "Don't Wait for the Movie," marked White Heart's miraculous comeback from what could have killed the band: their lead singer was convicted of statutory rape. A promising band before that crisis, their signing of roadie Ric Florian as the new lead vocal and the soul-searching that obviously marked their lyrical and musical output afterward proved God's mercies are real. That album to me always will be their best -- because it was so near to never happening.

  • Florian has an AMAZING voice! Doesn't get much better than this!

  • David Meece has a song called seventy times seven

  • Yeah that's a good song too.

  • @HairGlitter Yes, he does. That too is a good song. Somewhat different themes; Whiteheart's song is about the requirement for me to those who sinned against me 7 x 70 times. Meece's song is more of a reminder that Jesus has forgiven me 7X70 times, or not counting offenses.

  • The Young man that is singing this song, went back to selling insurance...

  • Actually, he's a very successful Realator in Franklin, TN.

  • No, Rick Florian is a realtor in TN

  • This song much be from Whiteheart album Freedom that I have lost :( But now I downloaded that album from the net hehe :) as mp3 :)

  • Actually this is from the album "Don't wait for the Movie" in 1986. Freedom was released in 1988 and I agree it is a great album. My fave is "Let the kingdom come"

  • Grace & Forgiveness Is a Great & Gift from God !

    Jesus; Overcomes All Things !

    Peace !

  • 666 the number of the beast hell and fire was born to be realised

  • back when music was music. Melotic, understandable, pretty, beautiful words. Wonderful message. Thanks for posting. I miss the 80's!!! :-D

  • i was raised on this music. I'm still looking for the full video tape with all of their songs on it :P

i listened to his song everyday. I still used this song to minister and Desert Rose to reach out to all of the hurting hearts that are in this world.

Thanks for posting this vid :]. it means a bunch

    God Bless

  • Awesome Group- Great song.

  • Means alot. Its the best as far as I'm concerned.

  • I love this song and Desert Rose too.I really liked Whiteheart. The piano guy was the preacher of the band.I saw these guys live, when they toured with DC Talk.I had just given my life to the Lord,I was 17 or 18 yrs. old. What happened to them?Did they disband?I don't hear much of them.Where can I find their cds,and the lyrics,to their songs? If I learn how to sing,I will sing, some of their songs.Heck,I will sing them anyway, whether I know how to sing or not.

  • Hi Sassychic24! White Heart are no longer recording as of right now. They have not "officially" disbaned but have not recorded since earlier this decade. They did have a rare reunion performance you can catch from 2006 soul2soul awards where they were honored. Thier drummer jon knox has a youtube page where he posted performances from there. If you search "white heart freedom" you will find the soul2soul link. White Heart has given us so many great songs. enjoy singing them. ;-)

  • I like this song and Desert Rose.I liked Whiteheart, they were a great band.I saw them live once with DC Talk. What happened to them?I don't hear much of them anymore.Did they disband?Too bad, they were a really good Christian band.

  • this pain of mine is like FIRE. I've never been this low.

    I love this song

  • Awsome Band!

  • WOW.. I love thier music but it is phenomenal how much they sound like Bobby kimball-Steve Porcaro TOTO...anyone else hear the likeness.

  • This has always been one of my favorite White Heart songs too. I miss White Heart and I wish they would come back together again.

  • Ol Rick kinda reminded me of Helena Bonham Carter when he stepped into the light lol. He has such an awesome voice though.

  • I have been trying to look for this song for quite some time, I used to listen to this song all the time, as I had through so much trials and pain in my life. This is such an inspirational song!

  • the emotion and truth of their music has always drawn me. Thanks for the post.

  • esto si es un clásico Dios los bendiga, me hace recordar mi juventud y mi crecimiento en Dios

  • very nice

  • Can someone post the whole live video concert of whiteheart?

  • Definately would love that as well :)

  • It is a pure AOR from Heaven!!!!!!!!!

  • This song like 'Harmony' from The Cruse Family sends a very strong message to all Races. Wish radio stations would go back 20 plus years and bring back alot of this music. Bilbo2shire

  • Amen!! One radio station that brings back 70's through today in christian music is XM 32. They are accepting any classic cd's' to thier music library to play on xm32 the message. If anybody is interested or has converted thier library to mp3 and no longer needs thier classic ccm cd's and would like to donate them to XM radio 32. I can give you the info on how to contact the radio station manager who is a wonderfull christian and has been in radio for many years. Blessings.

  • Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I seldom can find the music I am looking for. Songs like "Oh Heavenly Father", "Hollow Eyes". I think songs like these can unite Belivers and Non-Believers and all Christians regardless of Race. I understand the Guy who owns J93.3 in Atlanta also owns FedEx. People like this could be "Shakers and Movers". Bilbo2shire.
