You're very right, this does end up with the issue that Jesus was clueless if you take her teaching seriously. However, the more serious error is to call the Holy Spirit a female that was created by God - (incest is implied here). But even worse, by saying that Jesus was born of the Father (spirit) and the Holy Spirit (spirit), Jesus wasn't born of man and therefore not of flesh. This is the error of the Antichrist as I John says.

Unlike the Hebrew ruach, it is a neuter noun, and the masculine pronoun is used for it.The Hebrew word for "spirit," ruach, is of feminine gender, while the Greek word pneuma is neuter. Despite the Church's official doctrine that the Holy Spirit is masculine.

The Holy Spirit is definitely is one of persons in the trinity/Godhead. Bible scripture clearly points out this. If God the Father of the Godhead is characterized as male & Jesus the son & the Holy Spirit as one than the Holy Spirit could not be a female person. This is a very complex area at least for me. I remember seeing in Proverbs where the Holy Spirit appears female, yet also appears to be Jesus. And, yes in the NT we can see the Holy Spirit as Male. The Holy Spirit is surely not just an IT. The Holy Spirit is a person, a being.

It seems to me that teaching with 100% certainty on gender in such an area can cause problems for many people.

Some things just cant be simplified and will retain a mystery, and thats ok with me.
