  • does anyone know of you can do boxing or shadowboxing without any rest or is it requires plz pst me.

  • @viyarks

    what

  • Pretty fast, not that powerful but hey, guys like Ali and De La Hoya couldn't punch for shit and they trned out OK.

  • good form bro

  • Dude, protect your chin!

  • hes pretty quick but he just needs to put his body into the hooks more..and u dont really need to pivot ur feet idk but for me it causes unbalance most of the power comes from the legs hips and core not really pivoting ur feet

  • blacks love boxing..

  • @serpentphoenix Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans Say otherwise!

  • Love the double left hook, so fluid.

  • i dont know about perfect but it seems to be efective it would be perfect if he stoped squaring off so much and turn his punches over

  • Say what you want. You'd run away the minute this guy is on the same street as you.

Or at least when he starts grunting.

  • I like how he's not telegraphing with his shoulder, but I didn't really learn anything from this tutorial except that... I was kinda hoping for some instruction or something.

  • pity pat left hook he doesn`t use his body

  • fuck it have to say, not impressed really

  • not much of a tutorial, lets be honest, he seems more interested in looking out the door!!

that left hook need more work i would say, not really coming from the body now is it

  • the bag is not made for you to hit it has hard as you can, it is meant for practicing technique, balance, speed and power.

  • in order to develop power, how hard should you hit it?

    (((as hard as you can)))

thats the only way your going to develop power

  • Wow, lots of armchair boxers here. Yeah go into a real fight gym and watch how fighters train. You DO NOT go 100% on the bag all the time. That is a crappy way to train. Sure, sometimes you do short highly intense rounds, but if you try to go 100% all the time, then you will fail, plateau in your training, and probably injure yourself.

  • thats what the heavy bag is for- perfecting technique and developing power.........

    period......

hit the bag, hard. you don't soft touch a bag..........

heavy bag is designed to devlop power......

double end bag develops timing for specific combos.

    speed bag developes rythym

jump rope develops endurance, leg muscles and long windedness, it also works on rhythm

    shadow boxing works on techniques.......

  • jackass, you dont hit the bag hard, you pop the bag. POP the bag. push your punches and they dont do shit

there is no speedbag at redwood it is quite useless over there.

he isnt soft touching that bag either, he is snapping them off of it, just like they would be snapping your head back, people like you wont do shit with your "power"

    a little science for you

    force = mass times acceleration.

armchair fighters here, go to venice beach, redwood would knock all your asses out

  • @ajjets10 ey dont talk big punk meat me in LA i will fuck you

  • @ajjets10

Redwood is definitely a fantastic fighter. There is a reason to train power on the bag though - it's so that you train proper body mechanics and can smash your way through an opponent's blocks (when they're really hurt and on the run, for example)

  • the left hook is techinacaly wrong. you shoucld pivot form the back foot onto the front foot ans turn the hand over so the logo on the glove is facing you when it flashes past. the body shot isnt bad but that is not theway to throw a left hook to the head. good speed though.

  • the fist angle is also not thrown correctly. it has to be a horizontal fist to connect the punch square, whereas in the vid shown its more of a slap which doesnt enforce the power of a hook.

  • that left hook is perfect. "perfect".

that boy is getting his hip and shoulder into that hook.... he doing it right......

    that left hook is perfect.......

let me see your left hook........

  • its wrong, if you teach it from the, "theoretically I have never boxed a day in my life" stand point. that left hook is perfect if your trying to hurry up and throw it when you see an opening......

At least go spar man- so you can see what happens....... this guy is perfect....

  • ive been taught to hook with the wrist angled parallel with the floor. so if the punch doesnt land properly u wont break your wrist.

  • Dudes got some speed and power. Nice snap to his punches.

  • your not eorking the bag the bags working you

  • thats some good punches man! SOLID SHOTS!

  • well if ur guna post it on the net your guna get grill sumhow.. but i rekon his jab WAY to short but has real nice power, like most left hooker has weak ass right hand and will be open to jabs, and he could get twice the power if he followed through on the hook

  • The left hook is good and all , Only if it hits hard , Joe fraizer threw double left hooks with amazing power and speed This pussy bullshit aint hitting hard enough man.

  • It's hard for me to organize left hooks, seeing as how I'm heavily righ-handed, so people have an advantage over me in a match.

Any advice on cleaning those p would be appreciated.

  • dont rely too much on your hand, throw it with your body twisting into it and pivoting on your front foot. Hopefuly if you concentrate mor eon throwing it from the body it might feel more natural

  • cmon be real, this dude is no where near the size of joe frazier, prob a welterweight at best. you cant even compare the 2.

  • Dont get cocky here jerome.. I dont care what part of ethopia your from , Your maybe a peg above average.

  • dudes speed is cool, i'm faster than this bum though!

  • If you want to teach a beginner how to throw a left hook, you need to get the technique and footwork right throwing slow punches. Once the person gets the hang of it, then they can start throwing fast and hard hooks to the body and the head. A lot of the power of the punch comes from the rotation of the hips and the legs, not just the fist. A great combination is to hook off the jab. Throw a stiff left jab and follow it up with a left hook.

  • Looking at this video I think his technique REAL good. I like his hooks and his fast hand speed. As for the critical comments made I would like see you get into the ring with this cat an prove his punches are wrong.

  • LOL! Yes ur right and he should prove that his betta than Manny Pacquiao coz if not, he could end up getting socked in the face putting him in a stretcher with black dick stickin up waving a whit flag. LOL!

  • ALL YOU FAKE AZZ FREDDY ROACH WANNABE'S-Real boxing gymrats dont have You Tube accounts. You guys spectate from afar. How many have honestly trained at a gym and sparred?

  • You are very right.

  • he is throwing a left punch but its not a left hook..plus he is standing too square

  • I think his jabs are awfully close...In my opinion...Ive also never seen a pro boxer or any trainer tell me about a dual handed hook..as in.. two hooks right after eachother.

  • You serious? You never heard of a double or even triple left hook? You should look into a new gym. Jab, jab, right, left to the body, left upstairs.

As for pros, they do it all the time. Any good left hooker will do it in most fights.

  • Now thats retarted...I was taught how to box by two golden gloves champ fighters... One of them just got his olympic bid and has a ton of experience. And as for the pros...Look at the way they fight... Sloppy..hands down throw jabs from the hip. Look at Cassius Clay...What a joke.

  • you are so stupid

  • idiot. roy jones jr did 7 hooks in 1 second.

and holyfeild landed about 5 hooks to tysons chins in a roll.

  • I actually like this guy's right-hand more than his left hook. If you want to know how to throw a textbook left look videos of Felix Trinidad will do the trick. I think it is a good idea to move even when you work the bag. Should be able to throw punches from every angle

  • Good work, this guy look like hes being boxing for a while

  • are u stuopid obviously the punching bag isnt gonna hit him but still the whole point of punchin a bag is to make it as if its ur opponent \so u set the targets on the bag where ur gonna hit so as if it ur opponent

  • good hand speed

  • I can kick your ass. Ha - yeah right!

You have lots of speed. I'm barely just beginning with boxing so I'm trying to learn form. Thanks for the videos!

  • that requires some muscle in middle body

  • mad props youre one of the best non pros on here.

  • you cant box to be giving tips. his hand didnt turn and he didnt move cause hes in a small garage. if he had more room it wouldve turned and he wouldve moved. you can tell hes got rythm. 10 bucks you suck and you look like a clumsy ostrich when you hit the bag. alot of guys dont turn their thum to the ground when they hit. hes punching not doing a tech exhibition

  • is this sped up. Hes fast as shit. Like hes on speed..

  • he got mad hands

  • 200 bucks says he hurt something on that last punch lmao

  • What were those last few punches?

  • nice hooks and that last overhand

  • speedy
