  • The pharaoh's sidekicks remind me of devil's assistants in Hercules

  • I hate advertisements.

  • Hahaha god got mad RAWR

  • @serioushamster God doesnt need to buy anybody He's God . He works in the way he wants to . He wanted to show ALL his power & Glory to the egyptians but Pharoh's Heart Hardened wich made him bring Punishment over Pharoh's kingdom

  • why couldnt god just give pharoah a mountain of gold and buy 'his' peoples freedom

  • I was the prince of egypt, the son of the man who killed their children."

No Moses, you are a Jew, adopted into the RF of Egypt, not a blood prince.

  • I'd laugh so hard if god went "Moses" then Moses turned around and went "HOLY SH*T!"

  • Did god just get mad at Moses? Well that's something to tell your children

  • So apparently god is a burning blue bush in a crack inside a cave in Egypt...I gotta visit him some time

  • Moses: Look at your family.

Me: Now look at mine! Look at your family, now back to mine! Sadly, they aren't mine.

Old Spice, how you have ruined my brain...

  • Moses, dude, you totally forgot your sandals.

  • @KataniUchiha, how do you know what the Bible says if you dont read it?

  • @studentofpigfarts101 Let's be real, most people who DO read the bible are equally ignorant of what it really says.

  • 9:28 Ramesses isn't scared because he speaks Parseltongue.

  • God: A land, flowing, with milk, and honey.

XD! It said that in the veggietales version too!

  • moses:ramese, look at you, pharoh.

rameses: well look at you, well what on earth are you dressed as

    XD

  • I kinda wished they gave Moses a speech impediment. That would've made the movie more accurate.

  • I still love Moses' face when he couldn't wait to get home to Tzipporah!!!

  • I don't much believe in god or anything, though I was raised Jewish and still identify with those cultural practices and the Jewish people. I do think this is a beautiful movie though. It's possible to, you know, not be into religion in practice, but see the cool artistic things, such as this film, that are inspired by it.

  • Ralph Fiennes, the guy who plays Rameses, is Voldemort.

  • @MichelleRose9876 He's also Amon Goeth in Schindler's List and Count Laszlo in the English Patient.

  • 2:23 - 2:34 that sent me chills and scared me

  • I think having the visual aid of Moses' encounter with God helps me understand how powerful the moment was.

  • This scene makes me feel like I want to listen to Rainbow Dash more. To listen to my bronies. Rainbow Dash is always going to be a part of us. No matter whether we believe in her or not. Some are not perfect, some are. Some are normal, some may not.

This scene also makes me kinda jealous of Twilight Sparkle because shegets to really listen to her and hear her voice. I might listen to it someday. I know that Rainbow Dash has plans for me.

  • They so should have got James Earl Jones to do the voice of God

  • @Conorp77 That would have been epic!

But I think having a younger sounding Lord make more of an impact on kids.

  • ...who DO believe in God, who think He is with us. Just because we don't agree with you doesn't make us stupid or dumb or whatever. It makes us HUMAN. For me, it's depressing to think that after I die, there's nothing there, that I just fade into non-existence and I don't believe in Reincarnation. I am a Christian, I believe that my Heavenly Father is with me always and that He has a bigger plan for me than just living. I'm not commanding you to believe what I believe, I am stating my opinion.

  • If you don't believe in religion, why are you even bothering watching this? You people who don't believe in God are obviously just looking for online arguing. I just find it annoying how, instead of just turning away or just stating your opinion and leave it at that, you just have to get into arguments that are pointless-does the other person ever actually change their mind to see it your way? From what I've read, no. If you don't believe in God, then that's your decision-don't ruin it for us...

  • @RisenAngel17 Just because we're not religious we can't watch this movie ? I think it's interesting mythology.Cool movie based on a myth.

  • and it cuts the song off -_-'

  • can't we just watch the moive please

  • the burning bush is so impressionable .... God is incredible <3

God lives in all hearts, just listen to your heart <3 He will never steer you wrong

(dont bother with your negative comments...)

  • by the power of..SHUT UP!!! lol

God: come on you know im better...XD

  • I must ask...why were the Hebrews God's chosen people? What set them apart from other people? Also, did God give other people different treatment? I want to know.

  • Did Moses actually kill a man according to the bible?

  • @narupm Yes he did.

  • @narupm

Exodus 2:12 " Looking this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Eygptian and hid him in the sand"

  • 7:42 Awkward

  • illuminati at 7:07 :( even in a religous movie...

  • @MandyHarmony pure ignorance

  • question if Moses was the messenger of the god of Hebrews the dose it follow that there are other gods for other people

  • @orangejumpsuitninja2 it wasnt JUST god of the hebrews, the hebrews were just the ones who were suffering at the time, today you see there are people who serve gos who arent hebrew such as i. anyone can serve him.

  • Val Kilmer is god whooooooooooooooo

  • I meant GOD

  • Got hardened his heart so that the Egyptians would get every plaque they deserve.

  • I don't want to be disrespectful but...there is the scenario that Moses was high. I mean the bush was BURNING! Who knows what those fumes might have done to his head?

  • This scene makes me feel like I want to listen to God more. To listen to my gut. God is always going to be a part of us. No matter whether we believe in him or not. Some are not perfect, some are. Some are normal, some may not.

This scene also makes me kinda jealous of Moses because he gets to really listen to him and hear his voice. I might listen to it someday. I know that God has plans for me - good or bad - because I know it is also for the best. He doesn't control my life, he guides it.

  • @KataniUchiha You will get to listen to it in heaven :) And I totally know what you mean! Sometimes I wonder if God sometimes does still speak to His people in an audible voice occasionally. I mean, if you think about it...the time between the instances recorded in the Bible was a whole lot so it couldn't have happened all that often even then. So who's to say He doesn't anymore?

  • @KataniUchiha i hope you get the good side, always read your bible, follow the commandments and im sure you will make it to the kingdom some day. :)

  • @shet0421 I do follow the commandments but of course, some people sin, but I don't mean to sin on purpose. I don't read the Bible, but I believe what the Bible says.

  • DEATH, we hesitate to say

  • I Love the part when he is telling his wife, the music just gives me goosebumps

  • 7:49

where most people would say "well look at you!" they mean "oh hey you look awesome!" when rameses says "well look at you!" he means "oh wow you look so poor and ugly! what happened to you moses!?"

  • Why would God wish to make everything in creation one and the same? Why create everything uniform, redundant and boring when all can be unique and wondrous. It is a sad fact that all people are not equal, some are stronger, some faster, and others smarter. But it is our inequality that makes us all the same that we each bring to the table out own unique gift and that is what God wants. He wants us to be individuals capable of making our own decisions within his grand design for all of creation.

  • Umm.... god allowed them to

Be in pain so that He could save them. If you don't have a reason to trust Him, why would you? Moses would not be the person he was, if he did not have an opportunity to trust and obey God. That. Is the reason the Israelites were put through this. So that they could learn to trust Him. And it paid off. God never had forsaken them. He delivers them. Just like he promised.

  • Hmm...so God admits he intelligently and knowingly makes and creates all of these poor people with these unfortunate and painful disabilities? Not nice. Especially when he could make everyone perfect and happy if he wanted to.

  • God is terrifingly fascinating isn't he?

  • @Eszra he is a AWESOME AWESOME GOD!

  • 9:22 the magicians are like "aaaaawww sh*t"

  • Please read the Bible's account first before watching this! In fact, I would not even recommend taking this movie serious as an accurate account. A lot of details have been left out and added.

  • The movie is wildly inaccurate compared to the Bible's account. But Hollywood did make it so I should not be shocked.

  • i love prophet moses peace be upon him,, i wish they would do a islamic movie about him like the one they did about prophet abraham peace be upon him so muslims dont have to watch this ,,i like the real jewish ppl and honest christians but hate zionist so dont attack me ,,we got all the same messangers and prophets including jesus christ peace be upon him but we also love the last messanger of god prophet muhammad peace be upon him ,,,,there is no god but Allah the 1 creator of ALL

  • The burning bush part gives me goosebumps every single time I see it.

  • Pfft~ throughout the whole burning bush scene (and the subsequent scene where he first tells people about it) a line from Jim Gaffigan keeps repeating in my head: "Ya, burning bush, right. Moses, we think maybe you've been burning some bush." xD

  • I really like this moving because it explains everything I wanted to know :0

  • Is it just me, or does the short fat guy look like the matchmaker from mulan?

  • Wow God is so awesome!

  • I'm surprised Moses didn't completely forget about his mission after seeing his brother again after so many years. I know I would have.

  • @Jaguar you believe in God deep down if you didn't who lead you to this site and why are so so interested in proven him to be real/ fake stop fighting what you know to be true until you see the light you will forever be miserable.

  • Wait a second......wasn't Moses a.....slave?

  • Just when the good part about to come I in suspense... boom a gay pizza commercial comes on

  • I like how the court just has people stationed for atmosphere for impromptu magic tricks.

  • wait, wait, wait!

God made people mute, deaf and blind?! and he actually admit it?

why would he do that? did he lost his brains?

  • @jaguar4u2012 'Cause it makes stuff interesting lol

  • @MajickDemoniack

    RIGHT.....

  • @jaguar4u2012 lol CAPS LOCK FOR EMPASIS! EMPHASIS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MajickDemoniack

I came to a conclusion, Religious people are Evil as Hell

  • @jaguar4u2012 Meh, Evil people are just Evil. But Religion provides a justification for evil and ignorance, and that is wrong (i.e. Creationists trying to destroy science and the Westboror Baptists Church etc.).

  • @MajickDemoniack

well let me correct you about that

it doesnt realy justifies Evil, it Encourageous Obedience and Order, and it Taboos lots of things like

"Gayness" by making up basesless excuses like some Creature in the Sky dont want you to be Gay, because he made a Girl espcialy for him, and he shall die if he will be Gay!

Religion is a Tool the Goverments and the power people used, to Easly control people

by scarring them with "Ultimate powerfull mythological Beings AKA GOD"

  • @jaguar4u2012 Hmmmm......that's true. Good point.

  • @jaguar4u2012 tsk tsk u can't make that kinda of decison about people who want to believe in soething bigger then themselves, true those who have seemed to represent those who are religious is pretty much suckish doesn't mean that all religious people are, it likes saying all people who are white are racsit assholes, true there are people who are like that, but do you really think all white people are like that?

  • @sumrbrk

My Dear, Learn the Difrence between a race and Ideology

every invidual in a race is difrent

but Religion (ideology) is the same

The Religion is the biggest Evil on earth, and if someone following it

it automaticaly giving him in to us as being "a crazy Heathen Evil Savage"

  • @jaguar4u2012 befor you say god is the reason for diseasses and disorders...reqd about things that happen in the wom while the fetus is still growing such as turners syndrome.

  • @kiaramarshall08

well Technically he is the reason for nothing

    because he doesnt Exist

  • @jaguar4u2012 Go to this website: sites.google.com/site/truthmarcmora97/

  • @sebmac24

you've got to be kidding me!

please spare me from your Pagan Heathen Treatores Lies!

especially from Catholics, those monsters who killed so many inoccent people in the name of God that doesnt even exist!

it feels my heart with Joy to see Religious Scum becoming Desperate for Followers!

you can Scare us how much you want

but we all know its myths, we all know its your own words

and god is allways beyond our reach in order to spare you from responsibility!

    PAGAN!

  • Can anyone tell me why the King guy of FUCKING EGYPT HAS A BRITTISH ACCENT??!

  • @XxZoMbiEXHeaRtX because it's a film.

  • @XxZoMbiEXHeaRtX BECAUSE THINGS ARE MORE IMPRESSIVE WHEN THEY ARE VOICED BY RALPH FIENNES : )

  • @XxZoMbiEXHeaRtX Because british accents sound eviller lol. A better question is why are HEBREWS AND EGYPTIANS IN 4500 - 3000 BC SPEAKING FUCKING ENGLISH AND NOT YIDDISH OR ANCIENT EGYPTIAN?!?!?

  • Comment removed

  • i love the burning bush scene ENCREDIBLE:D.

  • @boomer97ful id cry if i saw that ;~; beautiful

  • Shut your eyes...

    ...lean back...

...and feel the PRESENCE of G-D!!!

  • My fav part is with the burning bush <3

  • oh get this the voice of God in the film is the same one who voices Mose's but if you listen closely you can hear the voices of the other voice actors

  • I whipped off my shoes! GOD IS SPEAKING

  • Psh, i just realized how much darker Moses got than when he was when living in Egypt in the protective walls of the palace. I feel slow.

  • I don't get it. God says that everyone is equal but the pope is higher then the rest of gods people?

  • @Warewolfgirl1

the pope is not "christian", but a modern CAESAR if you really analyze Christian history

  • @Eye2EyeIIIV

    But he's still higher

  • @Warewolfgirl1 He was chosen to guide or "shepherd" the catholic church, which i guess you could consider higher (such as president), but he is not better than any of us

  • @Warewolfgirl1 That's what catholics think. Not all Christians do.

  • I got goose bumps and my eyes got teary when Moses was speaking to God. What a blessing!!! To be able to speak directly to God himself!! And to hear his voice too!!

  • @JesusIsTheSavior7777 ya!

i want that to happen to me o-o

altho id be scared like moses was too ^^

  • @JesusIsTheSavior7777

    yeah totally :D

  • @JesusIsTheSavior7777 I would be scared to death! And I'm sure half the population would be to. If some weird spirit pool thing started talking to me, I would scream and run away to my mommy!

  • I love how he just twirls Tzipporah around like a rag doll. XD He barely knows what to do with himself. Then again, who would?

  • Imagine hearing Gods voice like that!

  • this whole movie is just amazing, from the sacrafice Moses's mother made to send him in the basket, to the moment of the burning bush,to when Moses declares"Let My People Go!" , until the very end..ive watched this movie as a little girl out of entertainment, but i now watch it for enlightenment& i feel nothing but compassion afterwards..its just so heartwarming and it makes me want to fight for my people if i were in the same situation

  • God sounds like a bit of an asshole. A real badass asshole. But an asshole nonetheless.

  • @Supercucu123 That's just what an omnipotent, omniscient Person with every authority to all cosmological powers sounds like.

  • is it odd for me to think that rameses is good looking for a cartoon character LOL.

  • "And the law clearly states the punishment for it i-"

    "DEATH"

    "We are hesitant to say...."

Oh I doubt in real life, the Pharaoh's advisers would be so stupid but it makes for good entertainment

  • Wouldn't Rameses' son technically be the prince of Egypt?

  • "WHO MADE MAN'S MOUTH!?" epic comeback. just do what He says, dude. you don't mess with that

  • @gahenna666 lol omg foreal

  • @gahenna666 amen

  • The first time i watched this movie i loved it.....when i watchin this i think of all the people who dont no the one true god....may all of get bless.....and may god protrct yoi all

  • Those two high priests remind me a lot if pain and panic from Hercules..

  • After Ramses says "What are you wearing?" look at his face for like two seconds...best rape face ever

  • @winniethewho91 i...just...died

  • @winniethewho91 lmaaaaaaaoooooooooo

  • @winniethewho91

    you're disgusting

  • @crusnikgal01 lmao. U made me laugh w/ that one

  • 4:11 Moses comes out and the whole heard is gone. lol

  • Everyone staring at Moses when he walks in. I'm thinking, "Carve a wall picture, it'll last longer!" LOL. He looks so uncomfortable walking in.

  • I'm an atheist egyptian ex muslim and I love this movie,Just kidding I find this movie laughable and am only watching it to laugh at how you people believe this shit is true =P

  • @AMxPunk If you don't like it. Don't watch it. ^^

  • @HollyAngelDreamer

Oh I like it,Its like comedy to me actually ;)

I just loooove the part where the "loving" "fair" god causes mass genocide on all of the first born children of Egypt. What a wonderful peaceful god.You believe this movie is about a real story? HAHAHAHAHA...Ha....ha...HAHAHAHA.Its 2012 and you jokers still believe this garbage,Sad

  • @AMxPunk

It was because Phaoroh hardened his heart against God that God did that. He gave the Egyptians plenty of chances to turn to him and stop their ways, and they didn't do it. ;)

  • @HollyAngelDreamer

Also why would god harden his heart? Did god enjoy causing pain and suffering? Such a "peaceful" god.

  • @AMxPunk Judaism explains that in order that Pharoh should have complete free choice in the matter without being inclined either way G-d hardened his heart to balance it against the extreme influence created by the plagues to let the slaves go.

  • @AMxPunk Then, laugh as much as you want. Laugh until your lungs ache.

  • @GreyEarlTea

That wasn't very nice,Wanting me to die? That is very christian of you =)

  • @AMxPunk In what way did I say I wanted you to die? I don't wish that upon anyone. I'm guessing you don't understand that phrase.. you must be very young.

  • @GreyEarlTea

There have been cases where laughing at that rate results to severe pain and sometimes death,But you wouldn't know now would you? Young? I am not the one who believes in fairy tales as reality,You are the last person to tell someone they think like a child.I only have 2 years left for my teenaged life so yes you can call me young,Young physically but not mentally like a group of certain people :)

  • @AMxPunk And you still have so much to learn.

  • @GreyEarlTea

    Don't we all? ;)

  • @AMxPunk Of course. So, learn to do what is right, and not mock the beliefs of others.

  • @GreyEarlTea

What if the beliefs of others cause humans to be immoral and cause harm? I'll play your game,My belief is that women are inferior to men and should do whatever men tell them to do just like cattle because my religion says so.Do not mock my beliefs because that would be "silly" and do not try to stop me from doing things such as beating up my wife ;D

  • @AMxPunk If that were the case, I'd let Him handle you. I can see you aren't going to accept the message, however, so it doesn't really matter.

  • @GreyEarlTea

Hey lets go kill some heathen homosexuals! I've got the shot gun! You can have the pistol. And after that I might go talk to mys...Pray :)

  • @AMxPunk I will never understand the intent of those like you who come to religious videos, just to comment rudely about those who believe. If you don't, that's fine. There are loads of people who watch this movie, and don't believe in anything. Yet, they don't ridicule those who do. I'm done with this conversation. May God bless you.

  • @GreyEarlTea

I did not come to watch this movie to ridicule anybody,Hell I loved it and love the peaceful message behind it "excluding the genocide your loving peaceful god caused to innocent children & the suffering Ramses suffered" But the main reason I came to watch this movie was because I am egyptian myself and the movie's title attracted me as I love these types of animations and I love all that is ancient egypt so I thought why not watch it.Oh I wish god can bless me,I wish

  • @AMxPunk Huh.. I'm sorry to comment back after I said I was done, but I wanted to point out that in your first comment, the comment that compelled me to reply, you said that you were Only watching this to laugh at the people who believe in this "****."

  • @GreyEarlTea

Yes,I didn't know much about this movie and when I soon discovered at the beginning it was about Moses I got that "Gonna watch for the lulz and continue watching anyway" and posted my comment knowing I'd get a reply which I did as always.Call me pathetic or whatever,But I sometimes go on random muslim videos and post "Hi I am an atheist ex muslim and I hate islam" and I get allot of hate which I find funny =)

  • "God" is voiced by Val Kilmer (who also voices Moses.) This was actually a very smart idea. Doesn't it imply Moses as being created in God's image? This is not only very subtle, but also very clever.

  • MASHALLAH GOD IS ONE GOD GREAT AND TO GOD WE WILL ALL RETURN....... when we enter a mosque we remove our shoes because its a holy place,, we have a beared just like the prophets we carry the message which was carried by all the prophets and certianly we are the best among the people... islam the religion of peace in which we are tought to love moses and jesus just the way we love muhamad [saw] its the religion of unity and brotherhood.. terrorism is just false image of islam.....

  • The guy who voiced God is lucky - how many people can boast that their role in a movie was God? xD

  • 6:57 Moses is DETERMEND.

  • Ok seriously all people who have questions about the dang movie just pick up a Bible and read the book of Exodus instead of posting a comment that'll make you look retarded

  • lol ramises called moses a snake charmer

  • WHAT?!where are the 10 commandments? and wasnt mosses suppost to have gray hair when he saw god? what happened?!

  • @ronaldolover0311 What happened is that they Bible never *said* he was an old man. In fact, if he was tending sheep, I would guess he wasn't that old at all... western Christianity has sort of fuzzied the picture on a few things. Just look at Noah's ark...

  • @ronaldolover0311 It's a cartoon and Don't believe everything the bible tells you

  • @liamevans1987 what? this cartoon was BASED off the bible. so dont belive everything a CARTOON tells you. go read the real thing.

  • @ronaldolover0311 I happen to be atheist but I wont go into that, the fact is that what is said in a book is not ALWAYS the case of real events It's based on the bible story yes, but that's the point.... it is a story, it doesn't HAVE to stick exactly to the same thing with each version
