you know, I'm a metal head and for some reason I really like Billy Joel. There is just something about his music that comes off as incredibly bad ass.
Oh my God!!! I was playing around on my piano and I played a riff that was SO familiar, but I couldn't place it. I knew it was Billy Joel and I knew it was on an album I don't own at the moment, but I couldn't remember what song it was. It took me over 30 minutes to realize it was Stiletto!
If I knew how, I'd post lot's of Joel's, Zepp's, Floyd's, and the fab four's Songs in high quality. But unfortunately...making videos is something I never quite figured out. Great song, Shitty quality. Too bad I can't fix that. So I'll just stick to my Zune Media Player.
I have "Piano Man",Streetlife Serenade","The Stranger","52nd St",and "Glass House".I wasn't to particularly interested in any of his albums after that.Just a few cuts from some of them.
That's right one of the greatest... all the songs of billy are great anyway but this one... wow! the rythm, the melody, the saxo solo very rock... Awesome! I love this song!! Liberty and Billy are so talented in this song!
i'm just learning this one on piano, this is about the most fun i've had on piano, great song too, i'm surprised it wasn't a greatest hit...then again, every song of Billy's is a greatest hit
this is so good! i recently bought the 52nd street album, and i always heard the sax and piano thing in the beginning of the my life video, and i was like this is sweet!!
man this song is a perfect reminder of an old girlfriend. thank god that is all she was/became. she got her hooks into some other dude and ran him through the shredder. dd. b.och.
Why does this have the beginning to "Closer to the Borderline" in it?

Bob Fosse used this in one of his movies. Star80 or All That Jazz. Maybe both.

Heard this on a great rap track. It introduced me to his excellent songs.
In the U.K I'd only heard of his women strife.
Exceptional.
You almost believe you lived in New York in the 70's.
