@TheEccentricTube Yup. According to Bret, he was completely out of it at this point. He was losing his keys all the time, forgetting how to get to the hotel after matches, suffering from severe headaches, etc. He doesn't even remember any of this match.

this cant be year 2000 becuase bret hart was injured in starcade Dec 99 agianst Goldberg which unfortunatly for all us bret hart fans was his last match . Plus Bret had to forfit the world title and dissapeared and made one last apperance feb 2000 confronting goldberg and setting him up and then attacking him outside

January 10, 2000 he wrestle with Kevin Nash, that was his last match, he appeared ones at Thunder (september 6) and at december 2000 he was officially left WCW and retire.

It was the extra two weeks of action post-Starrcade that further aggrivated Bret's condition. This match in particular was devastating. This is Bret's last official match.

Actually this was the year 2000. Bret hart did get injured at Starrcade 1999. The next night which was nitro the nWo 2000 was formed. He wrestled 2 more weeks fighting terry funk and kevin nash. Hart was suppose to fight Sid at Souled Out but the doctors told him not to because he had a concussion.

In his book, he says that he carried on wrestling for another few weeks after the injury due to not realising how severe the injury was. He stopped actively wrestling soon after this match and officially announced his retirement later in the year.

He vacated the title and Benoit and Sid Vicious wrestled for it,with Benoit winning the title with his Crossface submission.I heard this match made the concussion worsen because of the trash can and chair shots.On his DVD he says he had trouble sleeping at night from the pain in his head and decided to hang up the boots because of it.The best there is,was,and ever will be...

I don't know if you guys know this, but this was actually Bret Hart's last match of his wrestling career. He had gotten that concussion a few weeks prior against Goldberg at Starrcade and he had to forfeit the belt the same week after seeing his doctor.
