Street fighter 4 W/ Hori EX2 arcade stick

I bought this stick and use it for Tekken 6 and Street Fighter. You'll have to re map the buttons, luckily theres and SSF4 setting for that, and it tekken you can do it manually. But once done it works like a charm. I'm better with the controller, but the stick does work, I just lack SF skill. It works just as good as my Tekken 6 Limited Edition PS3 stick.

You must be talking about the cheaper Mad Catz stick (the non "tournament edition" one). Yeah, it's a piece of shit. Most people only get it because it's easy to mod and makes a good base. The one in this review is NOT the Mad Catz controller. It's a Hori.

in my opinion the hori is better than the SE. only problem with the hori is it can be a little noisy but it works well. and that is what the japanese pros use aswell.

i want the te fight stick but i can only find them on ebay for like 250 and i say to my self im not paying 250 dollors for a fight stick but yet i have bought a se fightstick for ps3 and 360 i paid 125 for the 360 i paid 95 for the ps3 120 bucks for street fighter4 for both systems and i just bought a hori fight stick the newer one i dont know the full name i payed 165 for it and this is all done over a 3 weeks so lets see 125$ +95$ +120 +165 ----------- 505 $ shit

Super just requires either a one kick or one punch. Ultra requires all 3 punches or all 3 kicks so if you are playing on the EX2, similar to the arcade cab I played SF4, you will have to press all 3 punches or kicks simultaneously.

I've got both, the TE for myself and the EX 2 for any mates that wanna challenge. I think its a great stick for the price, but I love the Sanwa buttons on the TE, so responsive in comparison to the EX2, and quieter too for those late night everybody's asleep sneeky sessions.

I suck with a pad, just today I was humiliated by a noob Blanka player at a friends purley because I haven't played a beat em up on a PS3 pad before, but it was better then the Xbox pad, that design is just broken!

Yes the SE sucks because of the inconsistant quality however when fully working the SE is actually better than the EX2 and reviews have said the same. (well at least 1 did, along with some other people who owned an EX2 before the SE)

I have a fully working SE and love it, I've had it since last month and after 600+ games online it's still going strong.

It is fucking stupid how MadCatz destroyed the rep of the SE but at least they found out the issue and have stopped shipping faulty sticks now.
