thats a very nice looking earthship i think it is great what you are doing and hope to biuld my own i have started to collect stuff to put in it i think it is great to biuld with what you have or can get for free keep up the good work
I am looking into an earthship and would like to build in Illinois but I have some questions. Does the house smell like old tires? Did you need extra heat? I know winters are bad there like here. Please help me out.
i mean earthships are awesome, I have read all earthship books, but this global model is little bit plain. Please dont thow stones on me I know design is limited by climatic factors etc... I just hope earthships will retain its uniqueness
im trying to get to the earthship in manitoba...its close to winnipeg somewheres...if anyone knows where, msg me! i love earthships and want to build one.
Montana looks really neat and professional, loving it. Couple of questions:
1) How do you create the floor? I noticed the mosaic arrangement, but what do you use for the mortar and how do you prevent water seeping through (a membrane perhaps)?
2) What type of earthen mix did you use to ensure the bath holds water? Is there any enamel involved?
3) I'd love to assist in building an earthship and learn the techniques involved. Do you take on labourers?
Have you ever seen the videos from mister tculhane on youtube? He explains how to make a bio gas digester so you can make methane gas from food waste. With two adults you have enough food waste to cook half an hour every two days. He made it from recycled products and now it is used in Palestina and Egypt.
I'm disappointed because I don't care for the newer earthship design with hallway greenhouses.
Boxy and cold. Very uninviting. Very unattractive.

Yeah, that's the million dollar question! What was the final cost??? I can't imagine
that one of these homes would cost 6 figures even after purchasing a small piece of
land.
