ben's actually a really smart guy. some of us used to call him "ben the brain". ali is really smart too. I actually went to jr. high with him too. he was one year below me. in high school, we had a lip synch contest and the junior class put on a presentation of michael jacksons "thriller". ali played michael jackson.

i did but i lost track of it. i know people who have copies so if i really wanted to i could probably track em down. looking back, even 20 years later, their presentation was great. it would be considered cool now but imagine it twnety years ago! if i remember correctly, ben actually was in a group who did the go-go's, "our lips our sealed". lol. they would sit on the stage and then when the chorus came, they would cross their legs. lol. both dudes were down to earth in high school. nice guys.

@sonic10158 no, far from it. i dont mean that in a bad way or anything its just that he wasnt, as far as i know. he was a guy that got along with everyone but academics were his main thing. then again, i graduated one year ahead of him so maybe he did something during his senior year.

They were nice guys but I was really surprised when I found out they were in a band because they weren't in a band in high school or anything like that. After h.s. I went in the service for about three years and when I came back, I read about them in a local paper. We went to a h.s. called Sonora which is in the city of La Habra in Ca.
