Hey, so I'd love to do this because I'm about to go on vacation! (AHh swimsuits haha) but I was wondering what kind of cotton cloth you use to make your own wax strips. Where could I buy something like this, and what exactly would I ask for? Non-stretch? There are so many types of cotton. Thank you!
@blahness013 I used muslin cloth to make the strips. You can get it from any fabric store. But you can also make strips from an old pair of jeans. This is probably the cheaper option so you save your money for your vacation :)
Luv luv luv thank u do much for your tips your the only video on YouTube that helped me get it right ...I had to make 3 batches b 4 I got it rite ....my problem was that I would cook it on high instead of medium heat .....thank u lots of luv
She's telling the truth! Im egyptian (hence the name masria, egyptian in arabic lol) and we totally do it this way, its old school lol. Seeing her apply it to her face and use the actual wax without strips brought back memories of my aunt looool. Great job!
Hello. Thank you, Your tutorial was perfect! I don't have a candy thermometer so I had to use the water/ball method to see if the sugar was done. Well I THOUGHT I was at the right stage but I guess I wasn't. The color was perfect but now that it's cooled I can't get it to form a flat patty. It just sticks on my fingers and never forms a ball. Is it possible I didn't cook it long enough? Can I put it back on the stove to cook? Thank you for any help you can provide.
@neener130 Hi Jeanine. You're exactly right. It's too sticky because it didn't cook long enough. I've actually never tried to cook my sugar paste more after removing it from the heat, so I can't tell you for sure how that would turn out. It's definitely worth a try. It will still work with strips if you want to use for that method. I have always just started the recipe over from scratch when it didn't turn out right. But it sounds like you were very close to getting it just right.
Thank you so much for these videos! I was just wondering one thing. Do you have to use the wax the same day you cooked it or can you keep it in a jar and use it another other time? :-D
I'm back and I got it right! I didn't have strips. So I put a little of Olive oil on my finger tips. Grabbed some wax, rolled it in to a ball, placed it on my legs lightly pressing downward three times, and then I pulled it. It had taken the hair off! Then I did it again, but instead of pulling, I just rolled it upwards. It worked! My husband is coming from NY on Monday so I have the weekend to get my both of my legs finished. I'm going to make another batch and I hope I get it right again.
@Brookie1414 You can use the same technique that I show on my arm in the video. It feels similar to waxing or tweezing. But the level of discomfort really depends on your pain tolerance. The discomfort is not too bad to me, maybe because I've been doing it for so long. But I find it well worth it because of the long lasting results.
@nmmigdal If it turns rock solid hard it means you overcooked it. Next time you try the recipe cook it over a lower heat and use the all of the testing methods I demo in the tutorial to know when it is ready.
As you said, it may take a few tries. First try, I burnt it lol. Second time, I don't think it cooked long enough so it came out as candy. It was really good hehe. I'm having my uncle go buy me some more sugar and a really good cooking thermometer because eyeing it is not working.
@alw7 You'll be a pro at making it in no time : ) Try cooking it over a lower heat too next time. This makes it easier to control how fast it's cooking. Let me know if you need any extra help.
Thank you so much. I have sensitive skin where if I can't eat the wax, it will swell up my facw. So your recipe will work great for me. It's like Nads, but I don't have $30 to be spending.
@nallely929 Applying pressure after you remove the strip effects the nerve endings so that you don't feel as much pain. You can use the paste at room temperature for the rolling technique. It will be too hard to use if you cool it.
Hi! This video is great! I do have a few questions, though! I am a girl and I have embarrasing upper lip hair. I really would like to get rid of it without shaving, waxing, or plucking. 1. How often do I have to use the facial sugaring technique to keep my upper lip clean and hair free? 2. Does sugaring eventually end hair growth? 3. Does the hair grow back coarser and darker? Right now, my upper lip is pretty dark and I am always getting made fun of at school. Please respond soon! Thanks again!
@Drinzyboo32 Sugaring works very well for the upper lip. The hairs won't grow back darker or coarser. It is not permanent hair removal. The results will last for about 4-6 weeks.
@krazzyrkb Waxing hair appears to grow back finer because some of the hair will grow back faster than others, plus there's not the sharp end of the hair that comes with shaving. In the end it's all going to come back. No you don't have to keep doing it. Hair gets thicker/denser because of changes in hormones not because of shaving/waxing. It will always grow back unless you damage the follicle somehow.
Would removing hair from the face make the hair grower thicker or would it grow finer
And once we start doing it, does that mean that we have to continue to wax it from the face??
How often in between will it come back..is it possible that if I do it once, then will it stop coming, or will it come finer (like baby hair) and we won't need to do it?
@krazzyrkb Shaving causes hair to grow back thicker and coarser, but waxing and sugaring have the opposite effect. Hair will grow back finer over time. The results from sugaring typically last fo4 4-6 weeks. Sugar hair removal is not permanent. Hair will eventually grow back. It will weaken your hair follicles if you continue doing it and hair re-growth will be minimal.
@flyingtacos101 If you're extremely sensitive to pain you can prep the skin with a warm washcloth before sugaring it will open the pores and reduce the discomfort.
@lilikoilooks thanks so much you rock!!! I love that you answers questions and for having endless patience because I'm sure you answered these questions many times before.
@ lilikoilooks so I'm really new to this and don't want to miss up so I have two questions first. I read a comment you replied to that said you can prep the hair by putting a warm wash cloth in it. My question is do you have to dry the the moist skin before applying wax. My second question is more of a double checking so when I'm waxing my legs I apply the wax against the hair growth direction and pull off with the hair growth direction. Thanks so much for posting these videos their so helpful
@Trying411 The warm wash cloth is not necessary, but it can help relieve a bit of the discomfort by opening the pores. If you do this step, dry skin off before applying the sugar paste. It won't stick if your skin is damp. Sugaring application is the opposite of waxing. You apply it in the opposite direction of hair growth and remove it in the same direction of hair growth. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
@sara24x Yes, I keep it stored in a dry place that's room temperature. It's not necessary to refridgerate it. I only reheat it if I use it with strips. I just use it at room temperature if I'm using it without strips.
@kimtasstical It should actually only stick to your hairs. If it is too sticky to handle you may not have cooked it long enough. You can also try coating your hands with powder (corn starch or baby powder) to keep it from sticking to your skin.
I tried this with vinegar and after I left it to cool down it got hard and it was still every hot what should i do? i've tried it 2 time already and the same thing happens?
@TheGraceMakene It sounds like you may be cooking it too fast and therefore overcooking it. Next time, cook it on a lower heat. Be sure to do the tests that I show in part 1 so that you'll know when it is ready. Let me know if you need more help.
@TheGraceMakene It takes about 20 minutes. But the time can vary depending on the humidity and altitude of where you are. The tests are a better gauge to know when the sugar paste is ready.
i made my sugar mix out of white sugar, and was ready at 240F, is it different depending on the sugar? i have no prob with the strip method, but can't do the hardball. any help would be great.
@yulianaluna06 The sugar you use shouldn't make a difference unless you try to use brown sugar or powdered sugar. The recipe won't work with those types of sugar. The difference could be from the type of stove you have, the humidity in the air, or the altitude of where you live. Form the sugar paste into a little patty you roll it over your skin for the hard ball method. What problems did you have with it?
I loved both your tutorials. Very well done. I think I'm going to try this. I usually wax my bikini but my skin doesn't like it too much and I can't go over it again if I miss. I'm thinking the cornstarch will help protect my skin too. Thanks sweetie for sharing this with YouTubers.
hello, this is my first time trying this and i stored my wax in a plastic container so i was wondering how long does it last because i still have a lot left over
@mcook259 It will last indefinitely if you keep it from becoming contaminated. Just keep it sealed in an airtight container and don't double dip into it and it will last until you use it all up.
@bittersweet1002 Because sugar is removed in the opposite direction than wax. The sugar paste does not stick to the skin so you have to apply it in th opposite direction of hair growth so it will get a bettr grip onto the hairs.
hey, I have one last question...I don't have a microvawe. So how do I heat it again?I put the mixture into a glass jar that had cucumbers before, but after eating them I kept the jar.
i wonder if i could pour the cooked wax into a used plastic wax container, the kind that goes into the microwave to heat before use? i want to throw my store bought wax since its useless anyway, im just worried i might melt the plastic.
@mikikay70 You can pour it into any container that can handle high heat (like for microwaves). However, if purity of the sugar is a concern for you, you'll want to only use a glass container to store it in. The plastic can transfer toxins into the sugar.
@Yoyoredman You're welcome. Both techniques will work for coarse hair. The second technique is best for smaller areas like the underarm. Thanks for watching my video : )
This was my first time sugaring, and I cut an old cotton shirt to use as my wax strips. I'm not really sure where I went wrong, but my legs are now dotted with bruises :(. I thought it was normal since I knew that waxing in general would require some pain. I know it can go away in a few days or so, but can you tell me any tips to prevent this in the future? Also, it was my first time waxing on my body, so it hurt!
@imFadingAurora I'm sorry you had a painful experience. There's always some discomfort when removing hair from the root. You can decrease the pain factor if you apply a warm damp washcloth over area to open pores just before you sugar. Are you currently taking any medications? Some medications make the skin thinner and prone to bruising. Let me know. If that's not the case, we'll troubleshoot to see what's going on with your skin.
@lilikoilooks Haha, yeah, I expected some pain ><. Maybe I did some weird technique when I was pulling off the strip. I'm not on medication, so there's no problem there, I believe. I'll try the damp washcloth. Thank you for your concern and reply!
Hi! First of all - I'm sorry for my bad English (Czech Rep says hallo:D ). I have to say this is probably the most useful video (and Part 1 of course) on youtube I've ever found! I tried it immediately and my first mixture was quite good ;) Turned out the cooking was the easier part though... the aplication of mixture was kind of adventurous and my bathroom was a complete mess! Thank God nobody was home :D But now, I have one pretty leg... second one is still waiting :D Thank you for this. Ahoj!
@CipsaCZ I'm glad the videos were helpful for you. That definitely sounds like an adventure if you only ended up with one smooth leg. Lol. Let me know if you need any help or had any questions about the application technique. Thanks for watching. Take care : )
@cmandamiento You're welcome. Thanks so much for the kind comment. Let me know if you have any questions about sugaring. Good luck with your first batch : )
Have you ever tried taking the mixture and turning into a ball, then using that to take the hair off like in the video "sugaring- the gentle hair removal method" by XTREMENailbuild? because that's how most Egyptians do it and you don't need as many products like Popsicle sticks! But great tutorial!! :)
@nhahais Yes, I use this method too. I use the popsicle sticks mainly to keep the process sanitary and not contaminate the sugar paste. Thanks for watcing my video.
I admire women like you who can do homemade beauty products, I can't do those things, I always seem to fail. The other day I was trying to make some homemade body lotion....EPIC FAIL!! I wanna make this Sugar hair removal, and also homemade deodorant, but I always seem to fail!! Anyway, i'm a new subbie and that was an awesome video!!
@Laurnea Don't give up on the homemade remedies. A lot of them work amazingly and you can know what ingredients you're using on your body. It took me many, many tries before I got the sugaring recipe just right. It just takes practice. Try some simple homemade beauty recipes and work your way up to more complicated ones. You'll appreciate using your own products. Thanks for subscribing and feel free to ask me any questions if you ever need help with sugaring. Take care : )
@lilikoilooks Thanks for your words of encouragement, I'll start with simple recipes as you said. This one will be my next attempt. You're adorable!! :)
@lilikoilooks I can't can't can't believe it. God is good! I actually failed the first time, but tried again learning from my mistake and got the paste exactly like the video. Wow!!! Thank you so much. :)
@Laurnea Yay! I'm so glad it worked for you. It just takes a little practice and patience to get it right. Let me know if you ever need anymore help : )
does the rolling it into a flat patty and just "rolling it off" really get all your facial hair off or would i have to use the wax strips way the first time?
Wow I love it but one question how long can the mixture be stored and what do you do with the ball of wax after you are done flicking from your face? Does it hurt? That was 3 questions. Amazing! :)
@FantasyDreamerXOXO The mixture can be stored indefinitely as long as you keep it from getting contaminated and keep it sealed. After you use the ball of wax throw it away. It hurts anytime you pull hair from the root, but it is not as painful as waxing. Hope this helps : )
U have really clear skin like no acne or blemishes what so ever and your camera quality was great so if u did it would have shown so what do u use to keep it looking so good????
@flyingtacos101 I honestly don't use any fancy skin care products. I just use castille soap to wash with and I use a facecloth to exfoliate with. My camera is nothing fancy either. It's just an old Kodak camera. I was dealing with regular breakouts out for a while until I started taking cod liver oil. It has made all of the difference for my skin. It cleared up my breakouts and improved my skin texture. I did a video review on it. The video is called Healthy Glowing Skin: No Makeup Needed.
@Vedi2010 This is an alternative to waxing that uses all-natural ingredients and is gentler on the skin. In both sugaring and waxing the hair should grow back thinner over time.
I am Egyptian..my mom and grandma have used this technique since forever...but i actually needed someone to teach me :)....thanks for taking interest in our culture :)
@KrazyKindaPOPSTAR You're welcome. I'm thankful to the ancient Egyptians for sharing sugaring with the rest world among many other great arts. Thanks for watching : )
I tried to do it but the wax doesn't stick on my skin .. this is so sad ..I don't now what to do ... please help me .. because i spend alot of sugar and I hope this can be used .
@xomiyp Make sure that your prepare your skin before sugaring so that the paste will stick. First light ly exfoliate skin and clean it completely of any oils or lotions. Then lightly dust skin with cornstarch or powder to absorb any excess moisture. If you do this the sugar paste will stick to the hairs.
this egyptian sugaring...i heard you apply it the opposite side of hairgrowth and then wax it in the side of hairgrowth - this should prevent ingrown hair. Is this true?
@lilikoilooks thank you for your quick answer. I only have few questions left: 1. I'll have to heat it on gas..how much do you think will it take to be ready? 2. when I put all the ingrediens in and start to heat, do I have to mix it all the time? 3. it's really difficult to know how much of each ingredient I have to put in based on your cup, which I do not have, so could you only tell me in measures. Thanks in advance for you answer:)
@Pavarsija You're welcome. If you're using a gas stove make sure you keep the heat on low-medium. It will take about 20 minutes to cook. You will need to stir it almost constantly to keep it from burning at the bottom of the pan. Tell me what measurements you're using and I will give you the conversion.
@lilikoilooks I use gramms, but you can tell me your measures and I can also find the conversion. I really don't want to take a lot of your time. You're too kind answering everything :)
@Pavarsija The recipe is 2 cups of sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. That converts to 459.84 grams of sugar, 57.48 grams of water, and 57.48 grams of lemon juice. I used a conversion calculator that I found online so I'm not exactly sure of the accuracy. You may want to double check, but it should be close enough. I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to ask me more questions if you need to. Take care : )
@lilikoilooks thank you so much. I just tried doing the wax for the first time, but I think I overheated it, because it's too hard. I guess I'll have to keep trying. Thank you for all your answers. :)
@Pavarsija No problem. You either cooked it for too long or too fast. Next time you try it be sure to use the cold water test to have a better idea of when its ready. Don't give up. You'll love it when it comes out right : )
Just a quick question, I've been reading a lot about this method and they say its safe to use on the bikini line but have you tried a full brazillian. If so, did you do it yourself or could you do it yourself?
@iHavetheSnapePoster You can use it for full brazilians. It works very well since it pulls less on the skin making it less likely to tear. I've only done it on clients. I've never tried to do my own brazilian because of the risks of tearing the delicate skin. Tears can lead to infections. You could do a bikini wax without any complications but I recommend going to a professional for a brazilian.
i haven't tried your recipe yet, and even if its the worst thing in the universe (witch i doubt it will be) i want to thank you for these videos, they are so well done and informational.
I like how you always reply to comments and questions, no matter how many you get, or how often you get the same ones!
I saw a vid of a professional sugaring hair removal, and the beautician was able to use the same clump of sugar resin or whatever you call it over and over without it getting softer, handling it with what looked like surgical gloves. What do you suppose they add to the sugar to make it a consistent texture? Cornstarch?
@HopeUnquenchable Thanks for noticing. I figure if I'm going to post a tutorial I should be willing to respond to the comments people leave. Someone told me that you add guar gum to the recipe to to get the texture that won't melt so easily. I haven't tried it though. Cornstarch might work just as well. It would help save product to do it that way.
I reallly neeed help i dont know what i did wrong my paste turned out golden brown but very hard at first, i used orange juice instead of lime or lemon is that bad? So since it was hard i added a little more water and heated it up but it was kinda runny in a way i tried waxing but failed :(, everytime id reheat it was too hot and by the time it cooled it was hard.
@MissJayDez It took me a few tries before I got the recipe to turn out perfect. It's ok to use orange juice. It's best to use pure fresh squeezed juice. Juice with additives and extra ingredients will alter the recipe. Use the cold water test that I demo in part one to help you know when it is ready. Let it cool for at least an hour before you use it. It will become stiffer once its cool. You can warm it over low heat if you prefer before each use. Hope this helps : )
It's the first time that I've tried this thingy... But I used vinegar instead... Kinda gross at first but it actually gave a tasty twist in the end... I added an additional ingredient that serves as antioxidant and prevents redness at the same time; COFFEE.. :)
Thanks for this vid... geeez, this deserves more views!!! :D
@viral0813 That's a great idea to add coffee. I'll have to try that in my next batch. How much coffee did you add? I'm glad that the recipe worked for you. Thanks for the comment and for watching my video : )
@samatron2010 You may be cooking it too fast. Try cooking over lower heat next time. Also be sure to do the cold water test that I show in part 1. It is the best way to know when the paste is ready. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions. Take care : )
I was wondering why diabetics can not use this wonderful method?? Thank you for your videos. I just found your channel today and I love it!!! Oh yes and one more question what kind of cloth were you using when removing hair from your arm??
@redsydee Diabetics have to be careful because some of the medications they take can make the skin thinner and more sensitive. I was using muslin cloth to remove the hair. You can get it from a fabric store. You can also cut up an old pair of denim jeans, which will work just as well. Glad you found my channel. Let me know if you have any other questions about sugaring : )
@nenwean1 It's not painless. It is gentler on the skin and therefore less painful than waxing. For me, the long-lasting results make the small amount of discomfort well worth it. If you're extremely sesnstive to pain you may not want to try it though. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching : )

Would removing hair from the face make the hair grower thicker or would it grow finer
And once we start doing it, does that mean that we have to continue to wax it from the face??

krazzyrkb 4 weeks ago
@krazzyrkb Shaving causes hair to grow back thicker and coarser, but waxing and sugaring have the opposite effect. Hair will grow back finer over time. The results from sugaring typically last fo4 4-6 weeks. Sugar hair removal is not permanent. Hair will eventually grow back. It will weaken your hair follicles if you continue doing it and hair re-growth will be minimal.

lilikoilooks 1 month ago
@ lilikoilooks so I'm really new to this and don't want to miss up so I have two questions first. I read a comment you replied to that said you can prep the hair by putting a warm wash cloth in it. My question is do you have to dry the the moist skin before applying wax. My second question is more of a double checking so when I'm waxing my legs I apply the wax against the hair growth direction and pull off with the hair growth direction. Thanks so much for posting these videos their so helpful
Trying411 1 month ago
@Trying411 The warm wash cloth is not necessary, but it can help relieve a bit of the discomfort by opening the pores. If you do this step, dry skin off before applying the sugar paste. It won't stick if your skin is damp. Sugaring application is the opposite of waxing. You apply it in the opposite direction of hair growth and remove it in the same direction of hair growth. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

do you store it at room tempature all the time then? and it's alright to use both ways at room tempature (strips and the rolling method)
sara24x 1 month ago
@sara24x Yes, I keep it stored in a dry place that's room temperature. It's not necessary to refridgerate it. I only reheat it if I use it with strips. I just use it at room temperature if I'm using it without strips.
lilikoilooks 1 month ago
probably a silly question but for the rolling technique do you still have to re-heat it after you've stored it in the fridge?
sara24x 1 month ago
@sara24x You don't have to re-heat it. I've never stored mine in the fridge before though. I always work with it at room temperature.

I want to sugar without using wax strips, how do you get the sugar ball to not stick to your fingers/gloves?
kimtasstical 1 month ago
@kimtasstical It should actually only stick to your hairs. If it is too sticky to handle you may not have cooked it long enough. You can also try coating your hands with powder (corn starch or baby powder) to keep it from sticking to your skin.

TheGraceMakene 1 month ago
@TheGraceMakene It sounds like you may be cooking it too fast and therefore overcooking it. Next time, cook it on a lower heat. Be sure to do the tests that I show in part 1 so that you'll know when it is ready. Let me know if you need more help.

@lilikoilooks okay um how long do you cook it for ?
TheGraceMakene 1 month ago
@TheGraceMakene It takes about 20 minutes. But the time can vary depending on the humidity and altitude of where you are. The tests are a better gauge to know when the sugar paste is ready.

i made my sugar mix out of white sugar, and was ready at 240F, is it different depending on the sugar? i have no prob with the strip method, but can't do the hardball. any help would be great.
yulianaluna06 1 month ago
@yulianaluna06 The sugar you use shouldn't make a difference unless you try to use brown sugar or powdered sugar. The recipe won't work with those types of sugar. The difference could be from the type of stove you have, the humidity in the air, or the altitude of where you live. Form the sugar paste into a little patty you roll it over your skin for the hard ball method. What problems did you have with it?
lilikoilooks 1 month ago
I loved both your tutorials. Very well done. I think I'm going to try this. I usually wax my bikini but my skin doesn't like it too much and I can't go over it again if I miss. I'm thinking the cornstarch will help protect my skin too. Thanks sweetie for sharing this with YouTubers.

@lollipopstarable You can use the second technique on any part of the body. It feels the same as the first technique.
lilikoilooks 2 months ago
why are you pulling the hair in the same direction as the hair growth and not the opposite direction?
bittersweet1002 2 months ago
@bittersweet1002 Because sugar is removed in the opposite direction than wax. The sugar paste does not stick to the skin so you have to apply it in th opposite direction of hair growth so it will get a bettr grip onto the hairs.

i wonder if i could pour the cooked wax into a used plastic wax container, the kind that goes into the microwave to heat before use? i want to throw my store bought wax since its useless anyway, im just worried i might melt the plastic.
mikikay70 2 months ago
@mikikay70 You can pour it into any container that can handle high heat (like for microwaves). However, if purity of the sugar is a concern for you, you'll want to only use a glass container to store it in. The plastic can transfer toxins into the sugar.

Sorry, but could you please answer my question?
This was my first time sugaring, and I cut an old cotton shirt to use as my wax strips. I'm not really sure where I went wrong, but my legs are now dotted with bruises :(. I thought it was normal since I knew that waxing in general would require some pain. I know it can go away in a few days or so, but can you tell me any tips to prevent this in the future? Also, it was my first time waxing on my body, so it hurt!
imFadingAurora 2 months ago
@imFadingAurora I'm sorry you had a painful experience. There's always some discomfort when removing hair from the root. You can decrease the pain factor if you apply a warm damp washcloth over area to open pores just before you sugar. Are you currently taking any medications? Some medications make the skin thinner and prone to bruising. Let me know. If that's not the case, we'll troubleshoot to see what's going on with your skin.
lilikoilooks 2 months ago
@lilikoilooks Haha, yeah, I expected some pain ><. Maybe I did some weird technique when I was pulling off the strip. I'm not on medication, so there's no problem there, I believe. I'll try the damp washcloth. Thank you for your concern and reply!

U have really clear skin like no acne or blemishes what so ever and your camera quality was great so if u did it would have shown so what do u use to keep it looking so good????
flyingtacos101 3 months ago
@flyingtacos101 I honestly don't use any fancy skin care products. I just use castille soap to wash with and I use a facecloth to exfoliate with. My camera is nothing fancy either. It's just an old Kodak camera. I was dealing with regular breakouts out for a while until I started taking cod liver oil. It has made all of the difference for my skin. It cleared up my breakouts and improved my skin texture. I did a video review on it. The video is called Healthy Glowing Skin: No Makeup Needed.
lilikoilooks 3 months ago
Whats the differ from this wax and regular wax? Hair will grow back regardles of which wax u use.

@Vedi2010 This is an alternative to waxing that uses all-natural ingredients and is gentler on the skin. In both sugaring and waxing the hair should grow back thinner over time.

@Pavarsija That's right. It helps prevent ingrown hairs and it also removes hair from the root instead of breaking the hairs. Thanks for watching : )
lilikoilooks 4 months ago
@lilikoilooks thank you for your quick answer. I only have few questions left: 1. I'll have to heat it on gas..how much do you think will it take to be ready? 2. when I put all the ingrediens in and start to heat, do I have to mix it all the time? 3. it's really difficult to know how much of each ingredient I have to put in based on your cup, which I do not have, so could you only tell me in measures. Thanks in advance for you answer:)
Pavarsija 4 months ago
@Pavarsija You're welcome. If you're using a gas stove make sure you keep the heat on low-medium. It will take about 20 minutes to cook. You will need to stir it almost constantly to keep it from burning at the bottom of the pan. Tell me what measurements you're using and I will give you the conversion.
lilikoilooks 4 months ago
@lilikoilooks I use gramms, but you can tell me your measures and I can also find the conversion. I really don't want to take a lot of your time. You're too kind answering everything :)
Pavarsija 4 months ago
@Pavarsija The recipe is 2 cups of sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. That converts to 459.84 grams of sugar, 57.48 grams of water, and 57.48 grams of lemon juice. I used a conversion calculator that I found online so I'm not exactly sure of the accuracy. You may want to double check, but it should be close enough. I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to ask me more questions if you need to. Take care : )

Just a quick question, I've been reading a lot about this method and they say its safe to use on the bikini line but have you tried a full brazillian. If so, did you do it yourself or could you do it yourself?
iHavetheSnapePoster 4 months ago
@iHavetheSnapePoster You can use it for full brazilians. It works very well since it pulls less on the skin making it less likely to tear. I've only done it on clients. I've never tried to do my own brazilian because of the risks of tearing the delicate skin. Tears can lead to infections. You could do a bikini wax without any complications but I recommend going to a professional for a brazilian.

Cornstarch?
HopeUnquenchable 4 months ago

MissJayDez 5 months ago
@MissJayDez It took me a few tries before I got the recipe to turn out perfect. It's ok to use orange juice. It's best to use pure fresh squeezed juice. Juice with additives and extra ingredients will alter the recipe. Use the cold water test that I demo in part one to help you know when it is ready. Let it cool for at least an hour before you use it. It will become stiffer once its cool. You can warm it over low heat if you prefer before each use. Hope this helps : )
