France and UK won the IWW, not USA. About the WWII, despite the Hollywood attempts to over-rate western front and allied invasion, the truth is that the main front was the Eastern one and the Germans had already lost the war there in 1943.

You are very correct, however, and this is a big however, if the US hadn't have entered WWII and been supplying the British and Soviets, the Western front would've been gone totaly to the Germans, then they would've sent more men and materials to the Eastern front and beat the Soviets. @Angelmtza I don't think anyone in America will ever apologize for kicking Germany's ass in two world wars... a little more significant than a simple automobile. And what reason do we even have for learning another language? Tourists generally learn at least a little bit of ours before they come here, and English is a very common language throughout the rest of the world where Americans might travel. There is essentially no need to learn another language, people speak "American" in America.

@NeverMeanToTheGreen I dont know what kind of history you guys learn there in United States, but in WWI USA joined to the Allies in 1917 and they didnt start to send troops until 1918 when the war was barely over. France and UK won the IWW, not USA. About the WWII, despite the Hollywood attempts to over-rate western front and allied invasion, the truth is that the main front was the Eastern one and the Germans had already lost the war there in 1943.

You are very correct, however, and this is a big however, if the US hadn't have entered WWII and been supplying the British and Soviets, the Western front would've been gone totaly to the Germans, then they would've sent more men and materials to the Eastern front and beat the Soviets. The US did the right thing, but had to. Agreed?

@deezynar In fact I really think that without the US invasion all Europe would be under USSR's ocupation. So, of course, US did the right thing. In fact I'm just critic about 2 points: 1) They should have helped western Europe earlier. 2) They pressure France and UK to not free Spain, betraying the spanish republicans (who had been fighting the fascism during all those years across Europe) and supporting Franco's regime, just because of its opened anti-communism. But that's other story.

@MrSergiobao So... Germany got its ass kicked by the Allies both times... and the US of A was a big part of that whether you like to think so or not. Are you referring to the Eastern front, mostly fought between the Russians and Germans? If so, then yes, they lost there earlier than the Western front. I applaud your vast wealth of knowledge
