Honestly, ive never played 7, but i dont get the point of cheating (7777, lvl 99 hacks, etc.) to beat a boss, take Zeromus EG from FFIV advance, most people can easily cheat him to death with the Lunar Dragon, but ive actually beat it 10 times fair and square, i prefer a challenge, not cheating.

yeah...i played the game 1.5 times in 1997 or 98 because i was on the second disc and my friend wanted his ff7 and memory card back. Then my mom got it for me on my b-day a week later and i beat it in couple of weeks. hands down on of the best games of ALL TIME!

Ya i've recently started it again aswell on PSP i bought it off PS store for €10.00 and it's so awesome you have to complete it way more then once, does this really work without any cheats and if so what would be the best way to do it and whats it like on the PSP.

there are several things like equip all your party with 2 materia each and wait until it uses air time storm , chocobuckle buff-up or manipulate hp increase at lvl ups

how is it possible to start a battle at 7777, i thought you automatically go to 1 hp after a battle?

u can give urself potions and equip different materia to get ur hp to 7777 ;)

You just get your HP to 7777 while in the Menu screen. You can do it by equipping the right set of materia, you can use the chocobuckle or cat's bell trick, or you can just get your hp to some number that ends in "77" by luck or by using "mini" and attacking yourself in the battle before, then use potions to get to 7777.

wrong. The 20:00 minute is normal. Allthough with the Underwater Materia, the 20:00 minute mark is eleminated, therefore giving you all the time you need. However, it is only obtained by giving the Kalm Traveler a Guidebook, which you get in the sunken Ship.

Yeah, normal is 20:00 minutes, and the underwater materia eleminates it.

Okay, the fact is: using FRAPS even with a decent system gives sometimes low fps, even with applications that do not require much processing power <--(technical stuff)

I had to speed up the video in order to fit it in 4 min

The clock in the upper left corner runs normally, terminating your claims of cheating.

lastly, think about this: If someone has videos with beating WEAPONS in under 1 minute, why would i post a cheating video with time of 3.32s??

I get email whenever anyone answers my comment. And MSN is on all the time so it says when I get a message.

But still the clock is slower than it should be. It should be 2x faster than that there since the characters' moves are two times faster; and the clock is normal speed. It should be "Beating Emerald Weapon in 6:64/7:04". So it's not normal, it is somehow made the clock run alot slower.

It lags on games that require a higher processing power because its like trying to fit 2 elephants in a jail cell, however, if the game does not require alot of processing power fraps is least likely to lag it out, garry's mod on my computer with fraps records just fine, this game is made in 1997, so stfu you little cheater.

@ultimateslash Your FPS is too high. The clock's FPS follows the same FPS as everything else in the same screen. The marquee rainbow colors in the character names moves too slow for regular FPS (60 frames per second is normal PS1 right?) ... also, tempo and pitch of the music and SFX, and the clock is not moving at regular speed (in seconds, the clock is moving at roughly 1.33 ~ 1.50 times higher than normal).

tahts not a fucking chet or a glitch, is a fucking skill, all 7's luck, i personally prefer 2 get barret and own shit with it, that getting all chars with 7777, cos if u lose any of their 7777 hp u lose the skill, AND when u finish the battle all chars get -1 hp, then u cant use it twice without getting that hp manually

4th know how to hold every1 calling u noob

You cheated for this. There's no way to get everybody at 7777 and keep it there, without cheating. I cheated also and killed him in under 30 seconds.

GET the less two # it end in 77 then use potion and Hi potion to get to 7777.

I see what you're saying, but then what are the chances that one, or all, of your characters does not get hit once in a battle?

The best way to acquire 7777 HP is to get an initial HP ending with 77, such as 3477, 1577, etc. One way of attaining such a number is to cast Small or Frog and Manipulate on your enemies, as they will only do a minimal amount of damage on your party members in those forms, which makes it easier to reach an HP ending in 77. From there, simply use Potions and Hi Potions as required until you get 7777.

Still, that'll take a long time also, but I guess it could work. Though, it will take a whole lot less time then the Death Penalty glitch.

I think that beating him the normal way--leveling up your levels and materias--is still better then doing it this way.

By the way, using that will only take off 497728 damage--that's not even half of his HP!
