  • what did you use to color correct it?

  • @jackaboonie Magic Bullet

  • very nice video

  • Music co operation is also very important, it gives sense to the video.

  • This video Is why I bought the best camera in the world

  • wat did u color correct in?

  • Wow! Amazing shot of the carousel....I loved it! Amazing work :) I want a T2i so bad!

  • this is "it can't be" from soundtrack pro isnt it.. lol just used it the other day :)

  • with just that lens... thats great... thumbs up

  • @ghettoqueue ty

  • How did you manage to get a film look? Can you make a tutorial on this? :)

  • @GOPSsSTOP google Philip Bloom thats the guy with all the tricks, I learned from his tutorials..

  • OMG at 0:57 that cat...i have just same cat!!

  • @ToulFaitatis LOL

  • awesome... you need to get a Canon Nifty Fifty - EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens...

i LOVE my Canon T3i & my Canon Nifty Fifty - EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens...

  • @ak49pro Agreed. Totally awesome little thing. But the lack of Image Stabilization makes handheld a bit hard

  • @ak49pro I Have a canon 50 1.4, but that particular day i was no supposed to film it was supposed to be a family time and i just hap end to have my camera just to take simple family pictures but the place looked so creepy that i started to film and thats how this vid was born. lol

  • i was taken by this. scary beautiful are the words i guess i'm looking for.

  • niiice

  • Who very impressive! I just got the t3i not too long ago and my first short film with it is on my channel

  • One of the best Canon videos on Youtube :)

  • @DSECentertainment Thanks,

  • if I need to do low budget movie and start film making ,do I need to start with those DSLR or buy video camera like Canon Vixia HF 41 ,I am so confused .

  • @souriaforus Is more a matter of preference, more than butget. and flexibility

  • @souriaforus Camcorders aren't very good for filmic looks. The Rebel T2i is the closet you'll get to a professional camera without blowing 3,000 dollars.

  • @awsomepossum1340 Not true. The Panasonic Gh2 is phenomenal and better than the T2i for video. Its only a grand. Granted you might end up spending two more grand on lenses for it but the kit is only a grand to start.

  • @BigBearfromthe206 Thats more of an opinion. I had both, and i like my cannon better all around. You can get a panasonic HVX200 for 2 grand and that is a professional camera. So the fact that you would spend 2g's on lenses is beyond me.

  • @awsomepossum1340 The fishey lens for the Panasonic is $850 itself. The other ones range from around $200-$450 on Amazon.

  • @awsomepossum1340 Yeah you're right. Its more economic to just buy a pro camera instead of spending all your money on lenses.

  • @souriaforus What you can do for a first movie is to go for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ48 and to get a good software to edit your shots and to make a good story out of it. A good software to make your shots cinematic is to get Sony Vegas Pro...

  • @souriaforus It would be better to buy a dslr in my opinion... you have more control over your settings and sound.

  • @souriaforus If you want good video editors, then use after effects for the visual effects of your video, and sony vegas for putting it all together, plus, i reccomend starting with just some camcorder when your starting out, see how good you get, then if you want move to a better camera, like a dslr:)

  • @souriaforus You should get a film camera.

  • Looks great!

  • This film is so artsy, that it actually made me come out of the closet - its' that good! Now, if you could do another one to get me back in.

  • is this not Balboa Fun Zone?!

  • @NyLoNfortyeight no is OldTown in Kissimmee fl

  • Too much noise on the image...

  • is that Old Town in Kissimmee?

  • @MrRyanreese ok

  • awesome video!! i've heard great things about full sail.. i'm a singer/songwriter and photographer, just starting into filmography--just got my new t3i--this vid makes me so excited; well done!! :D

  • Really impressive, looks filmed with a 5d so it looks pretty good for just a t2i.

  • Very Nice and super Movie

  • The song is very eerie, but it's very, very good. (:

  • looks all abandoned

  • this is so good it creeped me out if you know what I mean

  • Great short. Keep 'em coming!!

  • music suits the video nice man! good shooting and editing too

  • Did you color correct?

  • Seems like the type of fair where you'd get raped, and then shortly after, eaten.

..awesome quality film by the way.

  • There's some slight noise in some dark places but overall well done.

  • is this all natural lighting from where u were?

  • @AsperinJunkie Yes is all natural light..

  • Brilliant work. I have one question though: what kind of program do you use to edit and how did you get the picture thiner (panorama)? Thanks for replyin!

  • Good film.

  • this is really cool stuff man well done, could you give any info on your workflow in terms of exporting and compression etc? Do you convert to ProRes 422 to edit and h.264 to export?

  • @liamrd1989 Yes i use AR 422 or 444 to edit and then h264 for web I us MPeg Stream for compression and convert ions

  • @FullSailtv Cheers, keep up the smart work :)

  • i want to go to fullsail but idk. is it a good school i've been getting mixed signals and stuff

    this video is awesome

  • @lmj4life it all depend on how focus you are on the goal....

  • @lmj4life Full sail is one of the most prestigious schools that you can go to in the world. If you don't know, 43 graduates from there just worked on Captain America—their ability to get their students into the industry is pretty well known. It costs a lot for the film program, about 75K for the degree, but the amount you can get back from it is worth so much more.

  • @lmj4life if you want to master in production like lighting, and post-production like editing than fullsail is the expensive way to go my friend. if you want to be a Director its best to go to California USC and UCLA and universities like that. not to say you cant become a director at fullsail you definitely can.

  • @lmj4life If you go to a big school Your basically competing with every one else and pretty much debt by the time you get out of a big school. if you go to a small like UNA(the school I plan go to) you wont be competing and you get smaller class sizes. also going to a small school you get more hands on learning and it's cheaper.

  • I'm never going to a fair again, just because of this!

  • who dislikes a video like this tho? nice job

  • love this video, very very very nice my friend

  • Amazing that you only used the KIT LENS. Good for you.

  • Check this out, in AE with canon T2i as well. watch?v=bhtPW7NZQZI

  • maybe use more wide shots will be better

  • Nice feel for old town

  • Beautiful.

  • this look more like a canon T2I Test to me

  • Im the 10000th viewer :D

  • This is Awesome! Wow! Great work! What lenses do you use?

  • Nice footage, did not a see a story line, no connection, you always need to have a concept. But the random footage was good.

  • How come you didnt get any noise on the picture? if you didnt use a 50mm 1.4 or 1.8 ? Did you use something special when you were editing? ... i really appreciate your answer ... ! By the way good Short.

  • reminds me the amusement park from Silent Hill 3, nice vid mate

  • Have you got magic lantern installed?

  • @randyridgway i did but then took it of due to instability

  • @FullSailtv Cheers mate. But was it used for this actual footage?

  • @randyridgway yes as description

  • looks deserted. nice this is great wht editing do u use???

  • @bmskulllz FCP

  • song?

  • @cheese8jay2 son from apple loops library

  • do you by any chance recall the exporting settings?

  • @leonardocullen215 i export it in apple proress 422lt then it in compressor with the youtube setting.

  • @FullSailtv thanks, and there is a preset in compressor for youtube? or is it the h.264 one?

  • so what sort of editing did you do? color correction... im assuming... this has a great film look

  • @gearsofshock i shot it, edit and color corrected

  • @FullSailtv ok thanks... you got the video looking amazing good job

  • That is some brilliant production quality from a 550d and more surprisingly the 18-55mm stock lens!!

  • @afthefragile yes i had a wide lens adapter on it that i got for like 10 dollars @ a pawnshop t.ho

  • This creeps me out. In a good way. :)

  • is this music used in an other film or documentairy or so?

    It sounds very familiar

  • @BamiNasiSamuraiNinja maybe its form apple loops if am not mistaken

  • what music did you use? brilliant by the way.

  • @Freakish108 is from apple jampack

  • Comment removed

  • @FullSailtv sure.

  • Really good kinda creepy, reminded me of the opening of Final destination 3 a little bit aha.

  • whats the song?

  • Amazing, great shots! Could someone maybe tell me though how to film where either something close is in focus and the background is blurred or film something where everything is blurred and then they quickly bring it back into focus? If you could let me know that would be awesome thanks!

  • what does the 3.5 in the description stand for?

  • @LastChill

    F3.5 Its the Aperture Setting

  • Wow! Beautifully shot! Thanks for sharing!

  • Very very cool, awesome job on the footage and syncing with the music.

  • i like this one better, the music suites it more :)

    good job

  • nice work. what settings do you have fcp on for the t2i? i've been doing some research and it seems fcp is optimal with whatever format cameras like 7d/5d use. thnx

  • @zecha07 I use MPEG Sreamclip to convert the camera files to Apple res LT

  • This is amazing.. I can't believe it was shot with the T2i.

  • @theboardchairman whats harder to believe is that it was shot with a kit lens

  • Great job overall man, tremendo video!

  • The ferris wheel shot with the posts was freakin beautiful. I like the bull too. What was your iso and shutter speed set at?

  • @jaleru Thanks dude, i used Lens: Canon IS 18-55mm
