It did for me. I'll take Madden 05 over NFL 2K5 any day of the week. The thing that was the most frustrating with 2K5 was the fact that receivers would let the ball bounce off of their head, shoulders, legs, etc. without even attempting to reach out to catch the ball in the first place. receiver awareness was terrible. It was also nearly impossible to catch a ball out of the backfield because the RB would let it hit him in the back and keep running, never turning around to see the ball

I'm dead serious and yeah it happens in NCAA 12 but nowhere NEAR as much as it happened in 2K5. And I'm the last guy to nitpick at a game, but I'd take NCAA 12 over NFL 2K5 as well. I played NCAA 11 and can't go back to it since putting in NCAA 12. You can't expect for EA to completely revamp a video game like they did with NCAA 11 after NCAA 10, or Madden 10 after Madden 09, and after playing both the other day, NFL 2K4 and NFL 2K5 seem similar in the same way NCAA 12 does.
@Intincse those arent even that big a deal. the recievers problem you can try and catch the ball urself by switiching to the player and pressing the catch button. u have to be really good at the game to be able to do that. the RB problem is that u have to let ur runner get ahead and take at least 3-4 steps, unless its intended to be a RB pass he wont catch the ball. the RB needs to run his route before u can throw him the ball, u can just snap it and throw it... its not a screen pass either.
People 2K does not make football games anymore. So please let's stop talking bout the game it's old, and Madden is the only game in town. So you buy it or u dust off your xbox and play 2K.
I wish they had a mode so you can scope out the stadiums freely in some nice camera mode of some sort... would be nice to show buddys where i sat and stuff

This isn't a halftime show, but happens to be the best looking football cut-scene from any NFL game, reminiscent of an NBC cut scene.
I don't expect this to get much more substance. But, at least flow better and in my opinion create the best atmosphere for an energetic VIDEO GAME transition.

I've played the game and have seen everything already. Everything else is awesome, I don't care for a halftime show I watch those in real life. The game is totally complete not to mention half time shows would get repetitive fast. It is true to the game and not buying it because of an average half time show is lame. Chris Bremans' analyst of the game was not repetitive at halftime. He also commentated on the first half stats. Its obvious that EA Sports did not put the effort into making a realistic halftime show the way 2K Sports did. A football game with no first half stats is an incomplete game.... Why would EA Sports take it out the game ?
