I remember when I first tried WoW on my Trial Lol And my fist toon was a Nelf... I had no idea you could leave Darnassus and was there wondering what to do next for about a week xD Going back there still brings back memories.

actually, until the world tree, Nordrassil recovers from it's exhaustion from Archimonde's ascent, The night elves are slowly retaining their immortal lives. Death can't take over the world trees' ancient abilities. Eonar granted Ysera and Alexstrasza the power of life. they are protecting the night elven race. that's the reason why Archdruid Fandral Staghelm made the new world tree, Teldrassil, to help the night elves maintain there ancient abilities while Nordrassil recovers. :))

In the end tho, he was slain by the only one who could match his ever rising power, corrupted by the skull of gul'dan, empowered by the eye of Sargeras was not enough. In the end, he was sliced into two by his nemesis, Arthas, the Champion of the Lich King. Then to become the Lich King, for then to be slain by Tirion who broke Frostmourne with his ledgendary blade. Ashbringer.
