My friends and I watch your vids all the time. Best wishes for much success in what you do. Because of you and your exercise techniques, I am much stronger than I was 30 years ago. Back pain is gone and my upper and lower body is stronger. Core strength is a blast. Thanks a lot!
I am 5'8" weigh in at 225 and I just need to tighten my abs and lose round 10-15 lbs and I'll be cherry. How good are these at burning the fat, I know they are great for strength. my core is pretty strong for my size
sir i've been training for 2 yrs. i've done running< weigth liffting but nothing gets the love handles and the belly off, i will try this exercise and will keep u post.
bro what about if u train it in the front i mean ur doing in the back rite, so im saying doing in the front is training the abs directly, would that work?
@BBobbySSimmons lol thats what i was thinkin there are way better ways to get ur six pack like he said this is yoga and pliates not a real workout more half workout half strech so u have long muscles which is what girls need to look good
In reference to your conclusion, how long did you train using the exercises in the video before you felt that it would take a great deal of time to see results, and what were your increases in strength and endurance, if any?
@aguy1 I'm just saying that it would take a huge number of repetitions to start seeing results. I'm all for using these kind of workouts for guys who are out of shape but the title says "washboard abs", not "lose a little weight for summer". If you're looking for rock hard abs, why not use the methods used by the bodybuilders, the professional trainers and the fitness champs?
Even something as trivial as simply tensing the abdominals, where no movement is required at all, will produce results, even after 2 days, as it has with me, especially if you have a bruce-lee style skinny or tall & thin body. I have a clearly visible six pack now, without tensing, and after only 3 weeks of tensing, and some leg lifts & bicycle menouvers. Same goes for tensing fists, which tightens up the forearms, as my Karate teacher used to keep doing back in the day.
@scottmargerison - you're a sicko. I pity your children if you could ever find a woman who would have children with. Such hatefulness for someone you don't even know & who is trying to help folks to be healthier. Who's the loser, guy?
How many of these should I do? I'm doing the hardest ones and can do quite a bit, they tighten my abs a bit so i know it's working... should there be a limit?
you wont NEVER get a six pack from just training... the truth is everyone has a six pack, just theres fat over it. so if you want six pack abs, you should train at least every other day but loose alot of fat too. so do ab exceresises AND cardio fitness
@locutslocon 3 weeks of 200 situps a day then 300 then 400 the last week with a 10 to 15 lb weight should do the trick. you probably shouldnt try it though unless your an athlete or youll hurt yourself, but it worked for me
these are better for fighters as its better for learning to breathe while tensing ur stomach and holding it for extended periods. also... who wants to watch a vid of someone doing crunches? lol
planking is best exercise, but you should hold longer the contraction :D

locutslocon 2 years ago
Everyone is different.
Bodyweightcultureman 2 years ago
@locutslocon
you have to diet if you aren't naturally skinny or more "rounded" to get a 6 pack. It's basically just muscle definition.

how many times we have to repeat this exercise?
speensaba 2 years ago
Try 5-10 reps at the start. Too many reps on your first attempt will cause you to be very sore, even injured.
Bodyweightcultureman 2 years ago
how many sets? .. or u can do as much u want?
