i have a playlist of nothing but sesame street and the muppet show so that the kids i watch can see something that stimulates the mind instead of numbs it. i wish this show could be back on the air and that sesame street could go back to being educational instead of a mockery of itself.
compare this to "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob Squarpants!!" and is it really any surprise that intelligence levels have gone down?
Watch this as a kid I never realized how really great this music was on the show. So many great performers some like this one are gone now. I'm sure Mr. Gillespie looked on his time on this show fondly. A great performer surrounded by a creative bunch of artists.
I think I wasn't even born yet, but come on! Today, we would have to settle with fucking Barney or the Teletoobies, singing duets with the highschool musical fagots or some other crappy pop shit.
