Yes it is the Vine Leaf in Pissouri Jetty. We went to the Cyprus night last Wednesday up in the village with some visitors and the very same guys were dancing - it was good to watch!!

My god i will never forget the spirit of this dance i have witnessed. I was 7 when my Dad and my Uncle 'Romek' had performed it in new years day 1992 at 6 o' clock in the morning. As the the music speed's up at the end and they were totality drunk the fall on the floor. But there is one more thing i've remembered at that morning. They seemed to be the happiest guys in the world... even if they were Polish.

The Debkeh is not an Arabic dance my friend, its a Lebanese one which was practiced since ancient Greek times the Greeks took the dance and modified it from the the Phoenicians.The Arabs thenborrowed the Debkeh from the Phoenicians(Lebanese) and called it dabkah
