I look at Tim Waterson's technique when double double strokes, etc.

And please don't give the "its the fastest they know of" crap.

Tim Waterson is the fastest and that's that. If there were somebody faster they would not be hiding behind the closet. Someone like that would know something like WFD.

Well put, I checked Tim out, that's some fast *ish. I use heel-toe too so feels good to know that maximum output on my double pedal doesnt require a change in technique, just gotta get used to that left foot heel-toe too. I wonder who's gonna break the record if anyone.

look up: Tim Waterson's World Record Bass Drum Techniques DVD Trailer on youtube. I don't recall when he made the record but he's had the doubles record for awhile. He used to have the singles record until Mike Mallias took it, but then Tim made an unofficial record beating that.

It seems that Tim can have some possible challenger! Look up: Worlds Fastest Double Bass - 1530 in 60 seconds.

Tim said he has raised his doubles record again and this guy needs to abide by WFD rules.

This new challenger who did 1530 in a minute probably had a different set-up than the one in WFD thus making him beat Tim's established 1407 hits. As I stated before Tim stated that he beat his former 1407 record unofficially as well.

I've seen some other pretty fast guys out there can be competition to Tim but they must abide by WFD rules. Look up Dreammotive and thelinearpractiseday. ;D

Why was it so important to state who had the fastest foot? Lol we all know that John Blackwell's isn't it, and as long as there are drummers practicing people are gonna keep getting faster, so I don't think you'll ever really know who has the fastest foot. As long as we know that John's is definitely not it (no offense to him), I think we can all get along.

And then go shoot chickens n' stuff.

@Justs99171 I love George Kollias cause he's the "grooviest" metal-drummer in my opinion. His foot speed is awesome, but I didn't see anyone else playing a single paradiddle with SINGLE FOOT like Jojo Mayer in a drumsolo in a Nerve gig. Mayer plays the sickest single foot rudiments and patterns I've ever seen. So I don't give anything about 280bpm with single foot. It's cool, it fits to the music Kollias supports but it's not state of the art for all kind of music styles.
