They've actually been filming some of the REAL film in my hometown (Glasgow (Scotland)). Brad Pitt's in it. They've changed it so that George Square looks like Philladelphia rather than somewhere in the UK. Not seen the set yet myself but everyones talking about it. People were able to walk in as extras for £150 a day no qualifications required.I've seen it in shops but haven't read the book but I might now!

On the DVD for Dawn of the Dead (the remake) there were actually several fake documentaries chronicling the zombie plague. I used several pieces from it, including the how-to class on zombie killing (he's up! he's up!) and the reporter in london (man eating creatures)

They are really making a worl war Z movie? THATS AWSOME! its the PERFECT book to make a movie off of. They only talk about breif scenes of the world in World War Z. I hope they do the early infection up to Yonkers. THAT was the most intense part, because goverments hadnt acepted the infection. That, and retaking Amarica would an AWSOME! THAT was probebly the first time in ANY zombie story when there were famous heros, a united world against the threat, and a plausible victory in sight! Good Job!

Me too. Its bizarre how many films avoid the idea of a holistic science fiction war scenario. Even Terminator Salvation was kind of disappointing for that :/

Actually a lot of films 'sure to win' have been failing like crazy. Look at poor Jonah Hex, Percy Jackson, A-Team, all seemed poised for success to me, but all did pretty poorly.

The Dark Knight did fine and that teetered on R ('How about a magic trick?') and actually without a drop of blood that was the most intense film I think I've ever seen O_o

Good films attract audiences by word of mouth. Thats why Toy Story 3 is doing well and The Killer tanked.

@bloodrunsclear Percy jackson failed because it was unfaithful and was bad as was johnah hex and a team went up aganist karate kid which was bound to be a success and when it was good word of mouth kept it up.Toy story 3 was going to be a success without good word of mouth people will see a toy story film no matter what even if it's bad.What was the killer? and also if that pencil thing was the most intense thing you've seen you've never seen a saw film.

Saw is pretty bloody obvious. I've never felt intensity in those scenes because you don't know the people, the shots are too quick, and there's nothing left to the imagination.

The pencil trick came out of nowhere, left EVERYTHING to the imagination, and was so inventive and cruel that it shook me more then a thousand poorly implemented gore techniques could.

The problem with that would be that I wanted to keep things feeling uneasy and creepy. As awesome as that song is (bangs head) it doesn't fit the horror vibe the book had. I wanted something visceral and violent, and A Perfect Circle does that well.

I'll think about your track suggestion though for another video :)
