that looks to be more of a standard beam rifle. seems the buster rifle was discarded pretty early. it was the shot fired to get out of the launching bay without hitting the door. Although on the note of the buster rifle, it doesn't always fire beams that last for a long time. it has short burt fireing of those long beams and an even smaller shot that's still pretty powerful. I think it has about 3 different firing modes.

I loved this episode but you do realize he's actually using a Virgo 2 beam rifle not a Leo's. They do look similar and thus it does confuses people.
And if you look closely, the colony is not just a colony, but a colony cannon, which probably why he destroyed it.
And this clip appears it takes place during the last arc of the show,(Doctor J is alive but is still in prison) they just chose to use the EW version of Wing Zero (I call it laziness)

i like the original zero better. The original had a shield for better defens, and had rockets boosters which made it good for high speed combat. The buster rifle on it was very manuverable since you can hold it with one hand, the buster rifle on the custom has to be held by two hands which takes away its manuverability. Also the bird mode was very useful

With all the good Gundam Wing did (made Gundam a hit in America, started the 5 Gundams with Bishonen trends that Seed and Seed Destiny, and now 00 follow), I'm surprised they haven't remade it for a new generation. It certainly deserves such treatment.
I mean that they be re-animated and redone for the new batch of younger anime viewers. Seeing all the mobile suits done in 3D animation could be awesome for instance, and easier to animate in some ways, and would definitely better than Gundam Seed was in my view.
It's insane how many people can't read/see why Heero didn't use the TBR. It's even more crazy how many people bitch that he had to use a Leo rifle. To see Heero do as much as he did with a basic Leo rifle shows just how deadly he can be. He doesn't need a TBR to own. This video just made it clear how dangerously resourceful Heero Yuy can be, no soft stuff, It's also great to see the durability of the Wing Zero when it got hit by that large cannon in which GW are known for, it was also a fresh concept to see it use a standard beam rifle. Short but very Sweet and very nostalgic to hear Heero's original Japanese voice again. Thumbs up!!

This was a very good video. All the Gundam Evolve videos to date have been inspiring. I have no complaints. To people complaining about it being boring, you should grow up and learn the just pure action gets old but include a meaningful storyline and it will be amazing.
I like pure action though. To me, Gundam always meant "Big-ass robots that beat the shit out of everything, and looked spectacular while doing it." That's what the show SHOULD be called. THEN add the name of the series, such as Wing, Seed, or 00.
From What I heard the gundam evolve episodes are just alternate takes on some scenes or just extras. This looks like it might have been when Operation Meteor first began. This is because Dr. J is still alive, and in the Endless Waltz series they had the angel winged Zero as the first model Heero piloted (but that was more so they didnt have a bunch of changes in suits during the movie). It was alright, too bad there isn't any more really good Gundam Wing stuff.
acctually at the beginning when heero launches, you'll notice the doors are closing, he fires the buster rifel to blow them apart, then is shows a close up of the buster rifle falling apart. im mad there isnt any beam sabre action, but they are kind of complimenting heero on his skills, he took out 5 virgos and blasted the colony in half before his bomb finished it, and with just a leo rifle and wing zero.

The Endless Waltz versions of the Gundams are now considered to be the Canonically correct versions, replacing the versions seen in the normal series.
Also, this is set during the OZ War, because afterwards the gundams were destroyed (and as an above poster pointed out, Dr. J is kinda dead).

actually i thing the wing zero could have been rebuilt cause the cockpit seemed fixable and all they had to do was finish the torso and head, and who knows maybe dr.J couuld have lied, but thats highly unlikely

i like the original zero better. The original had a shield for better defens, and had rockets boosters which made it good for high speed combat. The buster rifle on it was very manuverable since you can hold it with one hand, the buster rifle on the custom has to be held by two hands which takes away its manuverability. Also the bird mode was very useful

actually i think the wings double as shields since they could take atmosphereic entry, as well as having the boosters in the wings for better manuveral abillity. the buster rifle on the custom can also be held by just one hand, as for the bird mode, i think its capsule mode helps it move as fast as it

With all the good Gundam Wing did (made Gundam a hit in America, started the 5 Gundams with Bishonen trends that Seed and Seed Destiny, and now 00 follow), I'm surprised they haven't remade it for a new generation. It certainly deserves such treatment.

I mean that they be re-animated and redone for the new batch of younger anime viewers. Seeing all the mobile suits done in 3D animation could be awesome for instance, and easier to animate in some ways, and would definitely better than Gundam Seed was in my view.

It's insane how many people can't read/see why Heero didn't use the TBR. It's even more crazy how many people bitch that he had to use a Leo rifle. To see Heero do as much as he did with a basic Leo rifle shows just how deadly he can be. He doesn't need a TBR to own. This video just made it clear how dangerously resourceful Heero Yuy can be, no soft stuff, It's also great to see the durability of the Wing Zero when it got hit by that large cannon in which GW are known for, it was also a fresh concept to see it use a standard beam rifle. Short but very Sweet and very nostalgic to hear Heero's original Japanese voice again. Thumbs up!!

Actually that would make a lot of sense. Except it does say at the end of Waltz that Mobile Suits were never seen again.

This was a very good video. All the Gundam Evolve videos to date have been inspiring. I have no complaints. To people complaining about it being boring, you should grow up and learn the just pure action gets old but include a meaningful storyline and it will be amazing.

I like pure action though. To me, Gundam always meant "Big-ass robots that beat the shit out of everything, and looked spectacular while doing it." That's what the show SHOULD be called. THEN add the name of the series, such as Wing, Seed, or 00.

From What I heard the gundam evolve episodes are just alternate takes on some scenes or just extras. This looks like it might have been when Operation Meteor first began. This is because Dr. J is still alive, and in the Endless Waltz series they had the angel winged Zero as the first model Heero piloted (but that was more so they didnt have a bunch of changes in suits during the movie). It was alright, too bad there isn't any more really good Gundam Wing stuff.

acctually at the beginning when heero launches, you'll notice the doors are closing, he fires the buster rifel to blow them apart, then is shows a close up of the buster rifle falling apart. im mad there isnt any beam sabre action, but they are kind of complimenting heero on his skills, he took out 5 virgos and blasted the colony in half before his bomb finished it, and with just a leo rifle and wing zero.
