And I can't imagine Megumi Ogata screaming like that either, although she did apparently do a scream in a live performance of "Cruel Angel's Thesis" by inserting Shinji's whole "Nigecha dame da...nigecha dame da" thing in over the guitar solo, followed by "UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

I looked up Evangelion...and the whole idea of it scared the shit out of me. Big, white blobby things called "Angels"? (I'm referring, of course, to Lilith, who was the one who stuck in my head) Blood all over buildings? I decided to give it a miss.

I rediscovered it earlier this year. Been hooked ever since.

I haven't seen Rebuild yet, but I am definitely going to beg for DVDs (yep, not Blu-ray, because I'm old-skool) of the Rebuild movies for Christmas. And yes, I can't wait for number 3 either. It sounds ridiculously awesome: Several Reis, Kaji pointing a gun at some guy, Gendo and Fuyutsuki mountain-climbing...squeeeeee!

@Witsarunemitea Oh yeah, I watched it first with subs. I think I prefer dubs because they feel more "natural" to me. The End of Evangelion English dub is pretty good, apart from the squishing noises Ms. Winn-Lee thought would be cool to add in...they kind of ruin the atmosphere.
