As much as I hate Carl Lewis, that was probably one of the most impressive relay runs I've ever seen in my life. I can't even measure how large that lead was by the time Lewis was at the line.

I don't remember which meet it was, but the most impressive relay run I've seen from King Carl was when he got the baton NOT IN THE LEAD and he ran the guy down from behind and got the Victory. Much the same as Evelyn Ashford did in the '88 Olympics womens 4x100m relay.

Those were the days ,but times have since changed for a long time now.
