@mrguitarheat you are right on that... saw Nils in AZ in August in a room of 300 peeps!! it was fantastic!!! got album signed and met him.... he has the same mechanic I do!!! small world. Acoustic act was wonderful!!! song to Clemmons made me cry!!
@DAROCKNESSMONSTAH man u just made me remember seeing "sugar loaf" in my high school auditorium! now i've gotta try and remember what song that was they did :) i came over here looking for the beatles, "all too much" that i'm pretty sure nils did in 1976.
@lastdaysguitar That's the one!! that's it, not nils lofgren, it was steve hillage!! yes! maybe it was nils lfgren who did "bang on a drum" but it was deffenently steve hillage that did the beatles, "all too much" !!!
For Keith Richards.. when everyone thought he was going to od & die.. Richards was so effed up at the time.. Nils wrote it hoping Richards would get straight.
No disrespect to the musicians playing in his band, but Nils doing this on acoustic all by himself is something special. And he is a lovely person to talk too as well.
@phototroon but this is the original photo...it's what made us (my bandmates and me) fall in love with Nils...I do agree the acoustic version is killer...I've been playing guitar 35 years and I am not even close to that...that is the definition of talent
they recently had a rolling stone review of their opionion of the 100 top guitar players where the hell was nils such a great style extrememly expressive.....
I like Nils Lofgren! Well, I think that when he plays with Springsteen sometimes he's a bit underrated, isn't he? Anyway, I like Bruce and I like Nils too...especially in his own performances!!! Sorry for my bad English!
A music-channel like eaglerocktv should put more effort into making the sound match the videos. This is not the only clip were the picture is half a second after the sound, and it makes it hard for me to really enjoy the video. Maybe the problem is with my computer, but I tried several different ones, with the same problem. Re-upload?

I used to pay 50 cents to see Nils Lofgren at Wheaton Youth Center back in the early 70's before he made it big...those were real jams!!

@m1kewithaone Checkout Steve Hillage's version of "All Too Much" (which also came out about roughly that time) it's pretty good.

Nils wanted to play with the stones, his playing was alright they said, but he didn't drink enough, so ron wood got the job, big mistake.
